It's clear that our message isn't getting across. Liberalism has spread its wings and most dangerously has continued to implement it's "change" on America even in areas where change isn't truly needed(Green Energy for example). Meanwhile, we're branded as racists, terrorists, etc every possible name they could think of and we're unable to shake these labels off. Even though I'm a Nationalist, a Third Positionist I recognize that I'm an independent and that means I'm in the same fight as everyone else. We must first recognize that our fight isn't just against Neo-Liberals but Neo-Cons as well. Neo-Cons have damaged this country beyond repair, with the war in Iraq, failed education initiatives such as "No child left behind", outdated testing manuals. And while they were right to warn about Fannie and Freddie, Bush also supported house lending for minorities, calling it an "accomplishment." Make no mistake, the Neo-Cons are not our friends. It's the Neo-Con, and not the independent that's supported by the Koch brothers. We must make it clear first and foremost to distance ourselves from the GOP. -The GOP is not independent -It's not pro-middle class -The GOP is a diseased body with traitors to America who see America as a corporation, not as a nation state. We cannot be called independent by America, if we associate even the slightest with the GOP. On the contrary, our mission to Restore America means that the GOP is our mortal enemy. If we recognize that the GOP is not our ally but instead an enemy of America and Independents, then we have reached the first crucial step in countering the Liberal propaganda of connecting us to them. The only reason this propaganda succeeds is because we've given up on our core base and we've attached ourselves to this disease-ridden, traitor filled "party". Detaching ourselves will be like removing a large lump of coal after a bad year of Christmas. Good riddance to awful garbage! But that's only the first step, the second step is to understand the difference between ideology and politics. This isn't a national country, or that is to say this isn't a country with a national viewpoint. If we were like say France or Britain, with some ideological history then running on an ideological platform might make some sense. But we're a country of fractured ideologies at best(if any ideology at all). This recognition means that running on a platform based on ideologies is a platform of failure. Yes, the Constitution was once such a platform but as Liberalism clearly shows us, that platform no longer exists. "Freedom", what's freedom exactly? Freedom is a vague word that can have many different meanings for everybody. To me, this is actually an existential problem for our country in that it has no ideology. But for now, let's focus on a strictly political lens on this issue. Because this country has no ideology, running on an ideological platform is foolish. That means that even if you're convinced that abortion is wrong and immoral, running on that platform is stupid. You're not going to convince the Liberal to possibly see otherwise and not enough independents are willing to take an ideological leap of faith yet. Same thing with Gay Marriage, etc. The question from many that might arise then is "How is it that Liberals can pronounce their ideologies and win?" And the answer to that is quite simple: Their ideologies are vague, to match the vagueness of this country. Universal Healthcare, who could possibly oppose that? Gun Control? With all of the recent press on mass murders wouldn't any sane parent want reasonable restrictions? To make it stupidly simple, Liberals do an excellent job of reaching a "common denominator" that can reach a broad consensus. To make it even more simple: They don't overreach. They know what America will and will not accept and what America won't accept, they can always sneak in.(Or they'll simply hide it until after the fact. See: the ACA. Yes, it was prominent during the primary but not the primary reason the voters voted for him). Me, at the time at 16 years old my preference was based on economics/Bush wars. Had I the political acumen to pay more attention to the ACA issue, I might've changed my support earlier. For better or worse, our movement is politically pure. Our intentions are obvious, straight out of the blue and even if we find them correct, Liberal America does not.(For a large number of reasons). Our political ambitions are well-meaning, personified and based on a variety of concerns. To address those concerns however, requires such a long-term vision for example that no one wants to address the proverbial "elephants in the room". Going back in history, such pure political movements only gained traction and power during times of crises. Because it is only then that the peasants of a country start to think "Okay, there's a problem and we must fix it.". If we wish to remain a pure political movement, then we have to do two things initially, one as above to distance ourselves from the Neo-Cons because they're infested with the disease of corporatism and blatant treason. They caused our problems to begin with. The second thing to do is much harder, but we must do it: Wait. None of the issues that are forefront in our minds, are forefront in Liberals or in politically disinterested "independents". And even if they were at the forefront, the political solutions to some of the crucial social issues at hand simply isn't available to us at the time. Just as science advances too, so does political viewpoints and solutions. It was the advent of technology, that made for a transition away from a slavery-based economy. Just as currency moved us away from trading chickens. If on the other hand we don't want to wait, there is a political solution but one that many might not like: Pull a Liberal. Simply put, there's no honesty nor integrity. If the President can sidetrack from his promises, there's no reason why we can't do the same. In this case, it will be hiding just how pure our program is. The purity of our program and our cause is too great to be politically accepted during a time in which everything "seems alright". There are some positions we might have to never support again(Opposing Gay marriage being one of them for example) as not only is it politically unpopular, it isn't even important to the survival of the Republic! Yes, we probably don't hold it morally but does that make it worth it to legislate it? And even if we succeeded in this advent wouldn't it be more fiscal waste which is what we're against? There are some positions we can compromise on, and if we compromise on those then our position towards the Debt and other more meaningful positions can be supported perhaps even with Liberal support. What we're compromising on, isn't our ideals nor our passion, nor our movement. What we're compromising on, is what might truly in the long run be the most mundane and pointless parts of our Movement. Those ideals that if they were upheld, it would be great but honestly without them the Empire can still stand. But with none of our ideals, the Empire is plunging towards collapse! At the very worst if we're neither willing to wait or attempt to "compromise", then there's a third option. Let it collapse. Opposing our Liberal compatriots is truly a waste of our financial and political capital. They're not willing to listen to us, or meet us half-way. What we should then do is to let them have all of the seats in power. It's not like we have power in this "America" anyway. Let their policies run amok, and if it's as perfect as they think it is then they should have no problem with us not wanting to participate. The reason that they clamor for bipartisan support is that every time something like the ACA happens, they can blame it successfully on the opposition party as well. And every time something doesn't pass, they can blame it on us as well. Our very political existence is damaging us. The best thing we can do for our movement, our cause and for the country is to enable our Liberal friends to show us this Liberal utopia unopposed. And hey, if it works I'll gladly celebrate for my future employment and prosperity in our country and the revitalization of the State. But if it doesn't work, then the void in leadership will only grow bigger and even the "liberal" who in reality is an American Citizen won't turn back to the Liberal product. But whether we wait, or whether we modernize our outlook regarding social political affairs or if we press the "nuke" button, we have many options for gaining power in America. In reality, one might discover the first and third option aren't too different. Indeed, I'm of support of the first option because in versatility, I can switch to the third position if the first isn't supported despite our gesture to Liberals. But I cannot switch from the third to the first. One can't be politically dormant and then raise political capital or run for a seat that may no longer be available. But all 3 options are only on the table if we do one thing first: Divorce the GOP. The GOP hates us, it despises us, it never ever truly supported us. It was and is a corporate first, state-oriented "opposition" to the Neo-Liberals. The GOP is a party of conmen. Can we name a time in the GOP'S history that it ever supported Libertarianism? Or Conservatism? Or even Americanism? Never. Period. When Bush SR said "No new taxes", he raised taxes. If we want an American First party, it cannot come from Liberals. We know very well what Liberals think of Americans, after all you can't determine whether or not your health plan is perfect for you! And it cannot come from a GOP that alienates us and cannot even support the beginning of our initiatives. Only we Independents can forge one party, that vows that for the support of the American Public, for the American State we will crush any and all obstacles in our path!
