Nowhere in the Constitution is the word ''police'' mentioned. In fact NYC did not have a police force until 1825. Therefore, they do not have any constitutional authority to violate people's right of free association or any other right.

Want peace in our society? Dissolve the police and let people arm themselves like the Black Panthers:

Black Texas Gun Club Stages Open Carry Protest against Killer Cops

A Texas gun club named after one of the founders of the Black Panthers Party marched in Dallas on Wednesday to protest against police brutality, KTXA-TV reported.
Around two dozen members of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club carried rifles and red, black and green flags as they marched through the city’s south side, sometimes chanting in support of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old man killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, on Aug. 9.

“If they don’t get these killer cops and corrupt cops under control,” a member identifying himself as Commander Drew X was quoted as saying. “What happened in Ferguson is going to be nationwide.”

    Absolutely ******med Right.
“If the protests hadn’t happened, you wouldn’t have the attorney general, and all these people, the FBI and the federal people looking at the situation,” said Brazier, a member of the New Black Panther Party. “They normally would have ignored it.”
Again, dead-on correct. Protests MADE the nation look.
it's why wingnuts want the media to stop focusing on it. Like children who want to break the rules mom put on them and whine when she observes them.

I posted this because these gentlemen say exactly what I think in the excerpted sections, which are obviously prompted by the outrageous police overreach in Ferguson.

But the Gun Club is dead-on correct: we have to take the stand NOW as this (*)(*)(*)(*) is already latent nationwide and showing exactly zero signs of abating anytime soon. It is still ratcheting up, cops are still being funneled giant military vehicles and guns, guns, guns. And stylish military apparel that makes them feel frisky.

Again, I know there are people who sincerely believe this will work, if we just tolerate enough abuse, but please and thank you and polite requests have gotten people exactly nothing as well. Cops are still oppressing the people of Ferguson and cops around the nation are hoping the resolution will be one that opens a huge door to being able to kill more people with less protest.

This whole crappy phenomenon was caused by, financed by and encouraged by the War on Drugs and it's Siamese twin, the War on Terror. Widespread steroid abuse by cops ain't helping any.

I salute the Gentlemen of the Huey P Newton Gun Club: they have my thanks.

It's not like people haven't asked politely.

    More protest.

This is the best deterrent to police crimes and the presence of drug dealers in the cities.

Phoebe didn't say that. Some people think democracy is tyranny. Some people think anybody who doesn't agree with their every whimsy is a tyrant.

That is why the feds have no right to police forces. The Tenth amendment allows for state/local police forces, since no prohibition of that exists for them.

Now read the Constitution's necessary and proper and supremacy clauses.
