That is how they see themselves. Pro-Lifers Are Today's Abolitionists The Federalist https://thefederalist.com › Latest Aug 3, 2015 — The grisly Planned Parenthood child trafficking videos show pro-lifers have a cause not unlike abolitionists against the slave trade.
What horse ducky... one friggin magazine article knows how millions of Americans feel. Did they ask eqach one? Most of us see no correlation between abolition nand abortion. Apples and space shuttles... despite your biased propaganda. So... do you think all pro-abortionists think they are reborn Minute Men? LOLOL
YOU have an opinion. I have a different opinion. Millions of folks have differing opinions on this issue. That's why allowing VOTERS to decide the laws in each state is a very appropriate decision.
Not my propaganda. I'm pro-choice. But the connection in pro-lifers' views has been well known quite a while.
Abortion and Slavery - Parallel Missions: Protecting Life lifeissues.org https://lifeissues.org › 2014/06 › june14_abortion_sla... Jun 13, 2014 — In the slave states, roughly one in four owned slaves.,1 Today in America, about one in four pregnancies end in abortion. When drafted in 1787, ...
In the narrow sense of the question, because I am Pro-Choice, the answer is yes, since a fetus is biologically human and alive. But being human and being alive does not entitle you to anything. We kill living things all the time. We even kill living humans. But most often, we are apathetic when it comes to other living humans living and dying. The proximity of that human life to the person doing the deciding seems to matter a great deal. That is why there is such a revulsion to, say, illegal aliens who may be escaping horrible living conditions in their home countries just to survive. But our concern for living human life does not extend to them, sine they are not Americans. They probably should have tried entering our country when they were still a fetus. They'd atleast get a grace period before the disgust and derision begins and their status as "living human life" stops winning them any sympathy from the pro-life crowd. And that doesn't even take into account how Americans treat other Americans.
Your numbers game is numerology. Having abortions examined by prosecutors eager for higher office is not a way to add morality. Today, these laws are already damaging women's healthcare as well as denying the personal bodily autonomy of women.
Thank you for admitting that you condone the killing of living humans who have committed no crime nor expressed any desire to die. No right to life, eh? What if someone decided that offing you is necessary for sake of "population control" per "Climate Crisis"? 'Living things' are not necessarily 'living humans'. Failed attempt to dodge the specific terminology within the question. Who is "we"?? I am not "we". Are YOU? I've never killed a living human who has committed no crime nor has expressed any desire to die. It's morally abhorrent to do so. Yet another attempt to dodge the specific terminology within the question. Again with the Marxist "we" as if you speak for all people. No. The revulsion has to do with committing a crime. Would you want illegal aliens forcibly entering your property, and even into your house, or should they stay off of your property unless you first invite them into it? Again, you're trying to speak for all others instead of yourself. An impossibility on their own accord. Their pregnant mother would have to do so. They have committed a crime, dude. My question is about living humans who have not committed a crime. Awful people do awful things, including condoning the killing of living humans who have committed no crime nor have expressed any desire to die.
I am for helping the poor, helpless unborn kids live. That has nothing to do with my view of myself. Its simply helping unborn kids survive the knife (or forceps).
Its right ON POINT. I'm talking about what folks think and do about saving the unborn... you seem lost in some post-Sigmund Freud psychoanalytic psychobabble fantasy bubble.
I care about facts... not irrelevant psychobabble and meaningless analysis of how anyone "views themselves".
In this case, yes. Its not that I agree with abortion; its that I strongly oppose government interference. Next thing, we will have to wear a mask and get a covid jab. When government controls a city, you get poverty, homeless, and feces. Government has been proven unworthy of being in control of my body.
