    http://news.investors.com/politics-...of-cuts-to-work-hours-jobs.htm?fromcampaign=1

Both the private and public sector are cutting jobs and hours. It's certainly interesting that over half of those listed are in the public sector. How many of these employees, do you think, are Obama voters who supported the ACA?

I'm sure these cuts are just the start of things to come. This will be the most devastating legislation to have been passed in at least 100yrs, which probably means it's the most devastating legislation in American history.

    Bad thinking.

One of the main reasons for ACA was to deal with the incredibly high costs of Republican market-based health care. Not to mention the shockingly immoral non-coverage.

Any time hours are cut to under 30 a week, you know it's because of Obamacare, but not sure why you libs deny it. I would think you'd be happy ass about it since this is what you voted for...now all those people will be in the exchanges. Isn't that what y'all wanted???

If the GOP puts the kibash on Obamacare, 30 million people who almost suddenly had insurance will vote DNC for the rest of their lives, as will their children. If you think GOP putting forth Brigham Romney or McSame and Juggs were bad decisions; you ain't seen nothin yet. The smartest thing GOP could have done was to help tweak it make it less of a financial burden and say they played a part in delivering Romneycare to the nation. Of course that is not possible, since the GOPtards are hell bent on self destruction.

Part time employment has existed since LONG before Obama or Romney were even born.

Why are the Republicans looking to delay Obamacare? http://www.drudgereport.com/ I thought it was Obama that wanted to delay it as he knows how destructive it is going to be. I understand Michelle Malkins already gotten a dear John letter from her insurance carrier: http://nationalreview.com/article/359778/worse-new-normal-mark-steyn

The Republicans should be RUSHING this. If it is a success, shame on them for scare mongering. If it causes the loss of liberty and prosperity that I think it will cause, let the Democrats get the blame and we can elect people to fix it.

    Keep drinking that Kool-Aid.

77% of new jobs in 2013 were part time.

Maybe they're fighting Obamacare because that's what we elected them to do.

I know, strange premise in today's world, but they're actually representing the will of the people who voted for them.

There is a direct relationship between education level and whether viable full time work is available. Also, a lot more women are in the workforce now, juggling part time work with being a full time mom. GOPtards are just pissed that the expression Romneycare got turned into Obamacare. They were all for it when they got to take credit for it. Obamacare is giving insurance to 30 million people that don't have it and regulating the insane rip-off premiums the GOP has let these insurance companies get away with (no doubt with HUGE kickbacks going to the GOP). I say put it in place and fine tune it afterwards.

And what about those who if Obamacare gets fully implemented will be without insurance, not being able to pay the premiums, deductibles and co-pays, those who lost their jobs, had their hours cut?

I love how you link to a video of MSNBC that quotes MediaMatters and has Ezra Kline as an economy experts... They haven't been towing the Obama company line since Day 1 or anything. You're just going to continue to ignore the facts that businesses are reporting that they're cutting jobs and cutting hours, which makes absolutely no sense. How can you debunk something that's actually happening and being reported on, as they happen?

Conservatives hate Romneycare... Conservatives hate Obamacare. We're consistent. 40% of the country is Conservative. 20% is Liberal. The country overwhelmingly opposed Obamacare, but Congress pushed it through, regardless. America is still overwhelmingly opposed to Obamacare and the Liberals are still ignoring them.

You're digging your own grave, because this legislation is going to backhand you for the rest of your lives. The proof is already being exposed in the light of truth. Unions, private companies and public companies are all reporting the same thing. They need to cut jobs and cut hours to be able to afford to stay in business and offer benefits.

Not only that, but small businesses are coming out suggesting that this makes it more difficult to stay competitive for employees. Half of the reason employees stay where they are, is because of the better health benefits they receive. Take that incentive away and you're going to have companies struggling to keep their employees for a variety of reasons.

However it was not the NORM.

Millions of jobs will become part time jobs...and millions of people will know why.

What goes around always comes around.

FOUR out of FIve Jobs created this year...were...PART TIME JOBS

Is part-time work the new normal?

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2013/09/02/part-time-workers/2754095/

the times they are a changin...and not for the better .

There's no "fixing" this, once it's fully implemented. The overreaching arm of the government will be so extensive and so intertwined in our lives and the medical system, it'll be nearly impossible to get rid of.

AN attorney who needs three jobs.....was mentioned in an article I just posted. I suspect that most people simply dont have the backbone for THREE Jobs. I certainly dont.

Those entering the job market...are going to be in shock.

those leaving......or already "retired"....are likely already in shock but somewhat better off in most cases.

    "Grandpa ....what was America Like before you old people elected that muslim President"?....;-}

What about that 1000's upon 1000's of the other companies that aren't cutting hours or benefits? Believe it or not, there are plenty of Companies and Businesses that put the success of their workers and community over their own personal need for greed. I myself am one of those. Albeit, I only have five employees. There are plenty of companies that are not succumbing to the paranoia, and will continue to offer good health benefits to bring in the best employees. And a healthy, well paid work force is what makes a company flourish like In-N-Out Burger for example, as opposed to squeezing every ounce of work they can out of their employees for the least amount of money like Walmart.

So if we can weed out these companies that doesn't put the Health and well being of of the American people first, than we will be better off without them allowing the better companies to grow and pick up the slack.

Obama delayed the Mandate for Big Business, but left it in place for the middle class to pay. The Republicans are trying to get the same delay Obama gave his big business crony's for the middle class.
