…Let’s start the new year off with some honesty and clarity. It’s not a slur, nor is it offensive or just about Joe Biden.

….“Let’s go, Brandon ” is a salve for a population that looks at Washington’s aged, swampy and out-of-touch leadership. It’s a way of saying to them, “We see right through your spin.” At a time when America’s caustic politics needs some levity, the saying is a winner. It says so much without being crude.

Frankly, out of respect for the presidency, I’d much rather people chant “Let’s go, Brandon ” than the expletive-laden alternative that was catching on at sporting events. The change made the slogan funny and less edgy, and more palatable for broader use. It’s also made it about much more.

“Let’s go, Brandon ” is for the parent whose children are being taught that white people and America are inherently racist and that there are dozens of genders.

It’s for the invaluable staff member at the local hospital fired because of nonsensical COVID-19 mandates.

It’s about the hard-working taxpayer who watches the government give away trillions in “free” benefits that disincentivize work and billions in fraud paid for by the middle-class.

“Let’s go, Brandon ” is about frustration with seemingly unaccountable deep state bureaucrats like White House Chief Medical Adviser Anthony Fauci, who treat the nation as his personal science experiment….

The unhinged Trump haters used the actual crude expletive on Trump and then like the hypocrites that they are, they seethe inside when their own dear leader, uncle Joe receives a more mild opposition criticism. This article is exactly right as to the different nature of the two. People were in large public gatherings actually saying the same thing about Biden that was once said about Trump. The reporter who coined the present term has inadvertently caused the f-Joe Biden chants and signs to slow to a trickle.

You're not really starting the year off with being honest because anything can be turned into a slur and that's exactly how you have used it in many of your recent your posts.

You're being hypocritical to complain about "free" benefits when Trump signed off on raising the debt more in 4 years than any other President. Where YOU when
that was happening? Where were your chants 3 years ago? I'm not impressed with your version of "honesty" - not in the least.

It has since been used as a euphemism for Biden’s critics as well as the media who ignore complaints against the president.
I see this just as much a euphemism for the "fake news " media repeatedly called out by president Trump.

A slur is something like saying a racial minority isn’t the president because he hasn’t shown his birth certificate. Which the right were known for. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone say “let’s go Brandon” is a slur. If anything I’m more appreciative of how tame LGB is to the racist nonsense from years before.

 

And just to be clear: the image is the american flag with the stars and stripes being covered by the words Fck Joe Biden.
I have no problem with this sort of childish behaviour from people who think they are bieng clever, but you guys love defacing the flag with insults to our president and then go cry at flag burning. sheesh.
