I'm not all sure what Rep's have up their sleeve with this HC bill, but if they have cards to play they better get them on the table & all agree to play their hand or they'll see 1) all Rep gains over the past 8 years disappear in a hurry. 2) Trump's agenda, at least much of it, is basically toast 3) and all that Red on the electoral map...gone...replaced with blue. I don't care (and I doubt Trump supporters do, either) if they delay the house vote for a week, as long as when they do vote they get it right and can get it passed in the House & Senate. The worst thing Ryan could do is refuse compromise, bring it the floor for vote and fail to have the votes. THAT would be a disaster in more ways than one. Hopefully that won't happen & hopefully when all is said done they'll have a piece of legislation that shines.
They have plenty of time to get it done and get it done right, and they will. After 2 years of Trump and the mid term elelctions, whats left of the Democrats will be a very few seats occupied by inter city electees. The Democrats are being led by the same people with the same old tactics that got Trump elected. Only an idiot tries the same thing over and over and expects a different result. Ya'll stick with Pelosi and Schumer, et al. We appreciate it.
Think you may be misreading me. I'm hoping Trump succeeds, that Rep's succeeds, believe me. I'm especially hoping the ACA will become ashes, but as I watch what's going on, it's a tad discouraging.
