The opposite of the truth. The values issues like gay marriage are big winners for the Republicans nationally.

    Check out the poll:

Which ONE issue mattered most in deciding how you voted for president? (Check only one)
    Category %Total Kerry Bush Nader
    Taxes 5 43 57 0
    Education 4 73 26 -
    Iraq 15 73 26 0
    Terrorism 19 14 86 0
    Economy / Jobs 20 80 18 0
    Moral values 22 18 80 1
    Health care 8 77 23 -

    LINK

Those who cared about these issues voted strongly for Bush.

And look at this article: Moral values push Bush to victory
Same-sex marriage was a wedge issue for some blacks

I am very happy to see Israel-subservient Gingrich sink and Israel-defiant Paul rise. Great news for America!

Santorum might be the VP candidate. He comes from a swing state, PA. Other possibilities: Christie, Rubio, Jindal.

Looks like 2012 will see an Obama-Romney race. The race will be close yet kind of boring. Tweedledee vs. Tweedledum

Wow, Romney wins by 8 votes.

Like I said, it's a virtual tie between Romney and Santorum, but Romney gets the bragging rights.

I felt so drained..Like watching a 6 hour Andy v. Eagle One at MOOSEPORT version of who will win or tie.

All I kept hearing all night long was " who will be the new Anti Romney "

    See my new thread.

I would say Santorum won and gets the bragging rights for his strong effort.

That, and the fact that he probably spent less than 1/10th as much as Romney did. Those 8 extra votes probably cost Romney over a million each.

Well no offense, but I think you already STARTED the spin.
Your biggest flaw is what you think about religion, IMO.

I think you'll see that Tweedledum makes a MUCH better President. And I think you should have switched the two names.

Methinks you should entertain the thought that in reality, pretty much every American is anti-war. (with the possible exception of the CEO of Weapons, Inc. or something :) )

People want war NOW, so they won't have BIG war LATER. That IS the way 99.999% of the non-"anti-war" people feel, you know...
