I never made that claim. You are now officially arguing with a strawman.

So now you can easily read the KJV and your previous claim that you can't is now moot? Good to know.

Okay, so now you can and we no longer have to have a debate about whether or not you can? That would be cool. I'm just going to assume that you can now read the KJV and that the claims that you can't are silly.

You're imagining things. I never made such claims. I gave you an opportunity to prove me wrong and you have failed horribly.

If you can read the KJV, then we have nothing here to disagree about

The Second Coming of Christ will be His incarnation in many people. These people will enter the eastern gate of the Third Temple, which will be built in the Judean desert in accordance with the description in the book of the prophet Ezekiel. This event will be seen by all people thanks to television and the Internet. "The clouds of heaven" is a metaphor; "clouds" in the Bible mean "many people" as in Hebrews 12:1. “Heavenly” means “living according to the laws of the Kingdom of Heaven,” which Jesus formulated in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-6-7). There will be a wedding feast in the Third Temple, and the entrance to this feast will be the eastern gate, which will only be open for about 10 days, from Yom Teruah to Yom Kippur. The moment the eastern gate closes will be the blink of an eye when the status of the people who manage to enter this gate will change: they will become the incarnation of God on Earth. The Jewish people, having accepted these saints into their bosom, will thereby accept Jesus Christ, whom the Jews missed the opportunity to accept at the First Coming. After this, the city of Yahweh Shammah will be built in Israel, in accordance with the prophecy of Ezekiel, and all of Israel will become the incarnation of Jesus Christ at the Second Coming, because the word of God will be embodied in it.

Sounds like mission creep to me. God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ are individuals. If the scripture says that Jesus Christ will return, then one would think that he will as an individual. That's not to say that his spirit can't precede him or manifest in some people. If it does, it won't be to the disappearance or occlusion of the savior, but to the acknowledgement of his glorious return in person. I mean, two things can happen simultaneously, in that one may testify of a living God rather than to make oneself to be God.

    You have a good point.....
He clearly did promise that He would return....... but......

His arising up through His Bride first is logical.......... and may be the next most important fulfillment of prophecy that we will be able to observe.

    Acts 1
    https://www.bible.com/bible/116/ACT.1.NLT

He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know.8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
9After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him. 10As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. 11“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”
    Matthias Replaces Judas
12Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, a distance of half a mile. 13When they arrived, they went to the upstairs room of the house where they were staying.

    and the smallest one a mighty nation;

    rI am the Lord;

in its time I will hasten it.

Isaiah 66 does say that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus will return to a temple........
but it seems as if a bad guy has temporarily taken over in the temple that is in Israel at that time??????

    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah 66&version=KJV

66 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

5 Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Is it possible that Zechariah 14 CANNOT HAPPEN until after the Ezekiel chapter forty to forty eight temple complex is built by Jews and for Jews??????

    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Zechariah+14&version=KJV

4 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

But it's a symbolic approach that imagines a spiritual "reward" THAT BENEFITS FLESH IN THIS WORLD!!!! -Even though the bible says "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

The "second coming" will only come within to those who can receive it, and it will be a transformation in which all that one is aware of is "I, Christ".

In the Apocalypse, aka The Revelation of St. John, chapter 6:

In other words, the story in the Bible is not to be taken literally. Is that correct? :)

"Wrath" is the Greek word "orge" meaning "desire, as a reaching forth or an excitement of the mind" according to my concordance. And it is derived from "oregomai" which also means covet or desire. Combine that with the exceptionally symbolic character of The Revelation as described by many theology scholars and we must realize there is a need to grasp a spiritual and non-worldly meaning of the passage. Hiding in fear is very worldly and reflects a concern for the flesh. Further, the bible says Christ is God, and God is love, and God is unchanging. So what would be the spiritual meaning of your quotes? It seems to be saying that either we can bury ourselves in the world and worldly matters ("mountains and rocks") to escape awareness of spiritual influences, or we can submit to the desire or intentions of the spirit that we accept the indwelling "Lamb".

So first of all it DOES NOT say Jesus will return. Jesus died 2000 years ago. Rather, it would be the Christ or "Lamb" that will come to those who do not retreat into the world and worldliness, and who we are to "die" with again as the bible says, to know God.

I know this is all WAYYyyyyyy beyond anything any worldly, literal bible reader can accept, but it's my truth to tell.

Correct. Now go ahead and find some actual known historical event found in the bible and use it to try to prove I don't know what I'm talking about. I would welcome it!

Why that is rather free interpretation of said apocalyptic text.
But "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", I guess. :)

In the title of this thread it says "Jesus Christ". But it widely adopted by Christians to refer to "Jesus Christ" just as "Jesus", as you know. And the Internet is full of people crying "Jesus is coming soon, Jesus is coming soon". They either have dreams or visions about that. Some of them even hear voices and receive audible messages. ;)

OK, I don't mind. I don't fancy Christianity myself, as one can tell from this and other threads.

Yes. True. But I do not descend to the worldly understanding and then try to explain it. From my years of intense practice which ended years ago, I acquired some "gifts of the spirit" within, and consequently I'm aware of the essential spiritual meaning of all religions, which are not so different, one from the other. And therefore when I read a bible quote I see it in the context of the essential spiritual meaning of the bible.

    More power to you.

It's all religious BS. But if he decides to show up again, what he got last time will seem like cupcakes to what he gets this time. The Terrans will blast him into his component quarks and gluons.
