The "shithole" quote is the best thing I've ever heard from a US President in my lifetime

What this post tells me is the standards of being American, let alone the standards for those holding higher office, is falling and falling at a phenomenal state. What the praise for Norwegians says is that the US should only take in immigrants from Western Europe, and nowhere else.

That's consistent with the immigration preferences we had in the past, when the US became the strongest country in the world. We got by just fine without El Salvadorans and Haitians, oddly enough.
