?

Is it reasonable for 3rd parties to censor mainstream conservative groups because of the SPLC?

  1. No, it is bigotry on the part of those following the SPLC

  2. Yes, censorship over a political disagreement and calling it hate is ok

..... “The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), originally chartered as a national ‘civil rights’ organization based in Alabama, is now working to marginalize and ultimately silence the voice of Christians all across America. … One look at the SPLC’s ‘hate map’ tells the story. … FRC’s goal is to raise $200,000 over the next 45 days to dedicate to this battle. … The SPLC must be stopped or we risk jeopardizing the security of everything good, true, and beautiful: our faith, our families, and our freedom.”

As these letters make painfully clear, hate, like so much in American life, has become highly ideological. In this climate, seeking widespread credibility for a hate list — with its inherently blunt methodology — seems at once quaint, noble and, possibly, futile.....https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...r-judging-hate-fairly/?utm_term=.26eb9138f09d This is a very long and detailed article regarding the SPLC and it’s infamous hate hit list. The Washington Post writer shows how the SPLC has this list while becoming partisan itself. They target as hate groups those who dare to disagree with them and include many mainstream conservative groups with congresspersons as members and allies, who testify before congressional committees on a regular basis on major issues and whose lawyers argue before and win arguments before the US Supreme Court as hate groups.

The SPLC is itself a terrorist inspiring hate group whose pronouncements against its ideological opposition should be disregarded.

The SPLC says that the groups in question even though they are mainstream and have allies in Congress and testify there and argue cases before the Supreme Court and are regulars at GOP functions and conventions are hate groups even more so because of those connections thus making the SPLC a nakedly partisan organization.

One day soon, once more successful lawsuits proceed against the SPLC, those will be used successfully to sue broader social media companies that discriminate against certain of their user groups not engaged in unlawful activities.

The "private business" and "EULA/TOS" retorts will be invalidated as judges analyzing both equitable and contract claims find that suits can proceed based on valuable consideration received by social media companies in exchange for not discriminating against lawful content creators. In short, you can't make billions on content that users provide and then discriminate against some of them arbitrarily once those billions are made. The various EULAs and TOS are on the shakiest contract grounds, have not been significantly tested as to enforceability due to difficulty in proving damages. My educated, professional opinion is that those agreements will be found severely -lacking-, tossed out with scarcely a second thought.

Once the ball gets rolling, hilarity will ensue, as one of the most powerful components of the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex, trial lawyers, will turn on a dime on the broader Complex and expose themselves for the opportunistic vipers they have always been. Get in bed with trial lawyers, take their money, feel the eventual pain.

I am hopeful that the groups that are considering lawsuits against the SPLC and groups that use their ratings to affect others in a variety of ways goes forward. GuideStar actually quit using their bigoted ratings under pressure and SPLC settled with a Muslim gentleman who sued them over hate labeling so hopefully this will continue.

My goal is to get groups that use the SPL’s blatantly partisan so called hate labels against non violent mainstream conservative groups for their own purposes against the groups the SPLC targets to stop or face lawsuits in court that will force them to choose between ceasing and desisting such use or losing judgements so severe that their businesses cease to exist. Getting multiples of individual judgements like the Muslim man did in order to bankrupt the SPLC forever would be great if they can’t be persuaded to stop doing this.

The SPLC is about as partisan as Snopes.

    Which is... not at all.
