What about those who have served and do not agree with you?

I'm unaware of any Marines or solderers below the 17th Parnell who violated the Code if Conduct.

We had no choice, Charley took no prisoners.

    Code if Condut

    I

I am an American, fighting in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.

    II

I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender the members of my command while they still have the means to resist.

    III

If I am captured I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and to aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.

    IV

If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me and will back them up in every way.

    V

When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am required to give name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies or harmful to their cause.

    VI

I will never forget that I am an American, fighting for freedom, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the

You might want to do a better job of proofreading before the next random RW BS post.

Do you mean Code OF Conduct?

What is the 17th PARNELL? A misspelled clone of Adam on Bonanza?

    Did you mean PARALLEL?

And a few other glaring errors that you could've cleaned up (if you expect to be taken seriously).

Best of luck in watching that spelling.

    Just a friendly reminder.

    Carry on. :salute:

Oh, and back on topic, The RW really needs to lose their obsession with Hogg.

Obvious you weren't there or done that.

Every U.S. Marine or soldier during the Vietnam War was heavily indoctrinated in the U.S. Military Code of Conduct than the Geneva Convention or the laws of war under the Hague.

Surrendering or being captured was never an option

    For the layman:
Political correctness = you are dead

Political incorrectness = You survive on the battlefield.

    The title of your post:

The survivor David Hogg attacks American war hero.

Follow by this in your very first post:

Mass shooting survivor ( how he survived has to be a miracle) David Hogg went after American war hero Sen.John McCain

So going by your post above, which one are you? Damn man, you called yourself out. Hilarious.

That's an incredibly doltish analogy, no one is off limits when it comes to political disagreement. That being said, we mustn't disrespect war vets specifically for their military services. Disagreeing with a war vet's politics is not one in the same as disrespecting them for their services

I wonder how many of us can actually sit down for a beer in the real world and not calling each other names. The faceless internet have quite an adverse impact on discussions.

Just guessing rcfoolinca288 you aren't from the greatest generation or from the luckiest generation or a baby boomer. or one of the older generation X.

I'm old schooled, I might excel in math and mechanics but English was never one of my strong points. So when I was a sophomore in high school my consular recommended that I take a journalism course that would be able to use when I attended college when 1/2 of your grade point was based upon your term paper that would put you on the "Deans List."

It worked, I turned in my term papers and my professor or instructor read the first couple of paragraphs of a ten page term paper and he had to go no further and stamped a big "A" on the paper. The fist paragraph had all of the "5 W's" (Who, What, Why, When and Where) Journalism 101.

Journalism is dead today in America.

I also learned back in the day newspaper journalist didn't write the titles or headlines what was published in the newspapers but they had professional title writers who only job was coming up with headline and news titles.

Newspaper headlines, titles and thread titles are nothing more than bait to catch someones attention to go further and read what the journalist or "OP"on social media like the PF has posted.

The title of this thread is >" The survivor David Hogg attacks American war hero "< was bait and you took the bait hook line and sinker or you wouldn't be participating on this tread would you ???

Go to the "Drudge Report" < http://www.drudgereport.com/ > Every thing you see on the "Drudge Report" is bait to get you to click on the link and read further. Matt Drudge is the best in the world of rewriting news stories titles. He learned the art from the best, the late Andrew Brietbart (RIP) who was the best at writing news headlines and titles.

    FYI:
If I were have used journalism 101, what I said above could have all been said in one paragraph, but it would have taken me 10 X longer to put all of my thoughts into one or two paragraphs. But I'm not that articulate of a guy, English was never one of my strong points. But I can take a 10 lb. block of cold hard forged steel and turn that steel into a tool or even into a gun like a revolver.

And I'm not the only one on this forum who can do that. Not mentioning any names for obvious reasons there are some on the PF who don't have to buy an AR-15 off the shelves but can build their own AR in their garage by buying uppers, lowers, etc.

Hey **************, how is that AR-10 coming along ?

Some of us on the PF may be older but we are mechanically inclined. Some of us even know what a lug wrench is.

Meanwhile, many Eastern born Americans from Brooklyn and Queens that were students in the late 40's and 550's remember joining gun

    By Anna Sanders
    March 31, 2018

New York City high schoolers used to pack heat as often as they packed lunch.
This month, more than 100,000 city public school kids walked out to protest gun violence — but last century some students attended class armed with their rifles and practiced shooting on school grounds.
There were at least three shooting ranges in public schools, the DOE said, including Curtis HS on Staten Island and Erasmus Hall HS in Brooklyn.
    ~Snip~
“It was common for high school students to take their guns with them to school on the subways in the morning and turn them over to their home-room teacher or the gym coach so the heavy guns would simply be out of the way. After school, students would pick up their guns when it was time for practice.”
The DOE doesn’t know exactly how many shooting clubs or gun ranges city schools had or when they were shut down.

I was on my High School's school's small bore rifle team during 51 to 54. Had to buy my first rifle with my savings from selling the Long Island Press.
It was a Marlin .22 Cal Anschutz rifle. Wish I still owned it. I used to shoot 1 MOA and better. Used to carry my rifle to school once a week and carry it every class no one ever said a peep. That was then, now kids are suspended for drawing pistols and rifles, or chewing Pop Tarts into pistols. Funny how things have changed, eh?
