good riddance to obamacare. WHY should the productive have to provide care for the non-productive? Why is it ok for govt guns to force them to do so, hmm? The poor should never have been born. their selfish parents just wished off their kids onto the backs of everyone else.

Pence is little better than Trump. Although Pence should arguably know more about government he has just as much distain for the United States Constitution, the American people, and the issues facing the United States in our foreign policy.

But assuming that Pence will fundamentally run the country ignores the fact that Donald Trump exhibits the classic symptoms of a severe narcissistic personality disorder that will not let him take a backseat to anyone. Trump's presidency is and has always been about feeding his mental illness and he's even got Republicans embracing his mental illness.

Thinks about it. On Saturday Trump wasn't addressing affairs of state but instead that his mental disorder could not accept that he wasn't the "greatest president of all time" so he claimed the largest turnout for his inauguration both in person and watching world-wide. Both claims are false but then white House Press Secretary Sean Spicer repeated them and used bogus arguments to support the false claim followed by White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus repeating the same false claim and accusing the media of being bias in reporting (the truth).

When Trump was campaigning and his statements were "fact-checked" it was found that he consistently lied and he even denied ever saying things that he clearly said and that was documented. His supporters simply overlooked the fact that Trump didn't know what he was talking about and that he was willing to lie about anything if it re-enforced his self-image of being the most important person in the world that NEVER makes any mistakes.

As President the American people do care if he's telling the truth but the problem is Trump can't. He can't tell the truth because he's unwilling to face the truth when it reflects negatively upon him. His narcissism won't allow it. The real problem is that Republicans are doing everything possible to cover-up his mental illness but agreeing with Trump even though they know he's lying.

One of life’s joys, all too rare, is telling self-important, pompous people that nobody cares what they do or say, or even if they live or die. It’s been a long time coming, but the rest of the world is starting to tell the US to keep its opinions and interventions to itself, and that’s a good thing for all concerned.

Two men who have caught the new mood are those Best Friends Forever, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. Putin watched the Soviet Union crumble, and Trump has been a vocal critic of the US’s Middle East follies. They both see the dark side of empire. They are both unabashed proponents of national interests—putting America and Russia first—but they’ve redefined national interests in ways that vex the Western elite status quo.

US military “protection” comes with the usual protection racket price: you do as your protector says. The US has papered the world with its fiat debt, setting up the global economy for the biggest financial and economic crash in history.

Billions of ordinary people hope that President Trump’s America First means America leaves them alone. Commendably, many Americans realize that would be not only best for world, but for America, too. The country faces a debt, demography, and entitlement tsunami. It can no longer afford empire and Pax Americana, if it ever could. Putting America’s own house in order, or even making a good start, would be a full-time, eight-year endeavor for the entire Trump team, and that’s if they never take vacations or sleep.

There is much wisdom in the phrase: “Mind your own business.” Making America great will entail making America dispensable and irrelevant, setting it free to address its own problems, and setting the rest of the world free to address theirs.
