Yes, the actual story of Noah's Ark is complete nonsense. Those who believe have zero concept of reality.

Well a number of things in the story strangely correspond one-to-one with what we now know to be true.

    1) It is uncanny that both Genesis and Genetics explains that everyone living today is related to just one man, a common father, who lived about 40 thousand years ago.

    2) The story also agrees in that the three different sources for the population of the whole earth, Ham, Shem, and Japheth corre4sponds directly with the Three Racial Stock Theory that separates our earliest racial differences of Caucasian, Mongoloid, and Negroid.

    3) Just before the "flood" Genesis reports inbreeding between different "kinds" of men, a case of hybridization which we recently confirmed by genetic tests that indicate the people of today carry Neanderthal genes in them.

    4) Genesis tells us that Ham, Shem, and Japheth were all born 100,000 to 145,000 years ago, which corre4sponds with the time table science holds for Modern Homo sapiens.

    5) Paleontology reports a mass extinction of lower forms of humans took place 40,000 years ago, when Neanderthals and Homo erectus went extinct.
The was the purpose of the flood, to eliminate other types of mankind.

    6) Paleontological Theories called "Out -of-Africa" and the "Noah's Ark theory" connect the migration out of Africa, 40,000 years ago, with the sudden population explosion among Modern Homo sapiens and the spread of modern man around the globe and to the mountain tops.

    7) There is also the genetic evidence for an "Eve, mother of all men theory," better assumed to refer to Noah's wife, which explains all people today had one common mother who @200,000 years ago.
This evidence compares and corresponds with the Genesis "flood" out of Africa story since the three sons of Noah were born when Noah was 500 years old, but the flood did not come until he was 600 years old.
If we take the liberty of applying "a day is to the lord like a thousand years," as the Bibles says,... 40 days = 40,000 years.

That is exactly what the Bible is telling, that man is the apex of intelligence, with an evolved mind that finally can image the Realities of the past, Truth, and understand the Natural Laws of the Universe, hence co-exist with force behind the ever unfolding next frame of the Now.

Gen. 1:26 And God, (i.e.; the force behind the ever unfolding Reality), said, "Let us,” (the Natural Laws?), ”make man,” (mentally, in his spirit of mind, to model us, to see the unfolding Universe by using his mind), “in our image” (i.e.; by means of these natural laws, to model after our orderly organization): and let him (that spirit of mind,) have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Gen. 1:27 So G-d, (the force behind the ever unfolding momentary Reality), created man (an abstract mind/psyche, in his own image, enabled so as to image the ever unfolding momentary Reality, abstractly and mathematically), so created G-d ( the creative force behind the ever unfolding Reality), him; male and female created he them.

When you say ancient wisdom knowledge do you mean Confucius, Siddhartha, and so on. or are you more focused on western spirituality?

Why do you believe evolution is "frozen"?
    http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1931757,00.html

Evolution is a slow process, not one you should expect to watch occur before your eyes.

Mutations are hereditary changes in DNA. These occur extremely rarely, and it is even more rare for one to cause a tiny change that makes an individual more appealing to prospective mates (or longer lived, so they have more opportunity to breed) in order to pass on this change to future generations.
When this does occur, those individuals who do not have the mutation do not suddenly cease to exist or cease breeding amongst themselves. That's why "disadvantaged" species still exist. You might prefer short blondes, but that doesn't mean tall brunettes will vanish.

Please read your comments and check your math figures. None of it makes any logical sense.

You said that the common father lived 40,000 years ago. Then you say that "Ham, Shem, and Japheth were all born 100,000 to 145,000 years ago, which corre4sponds with the time table science holds for Modern Homo sapiens."

Then there's the Eve problem, with her living 200,000 years ago.

I think you need a rewrite. Your screenplay will make a lousy movie.

You're wasting your breath. People have consistently pointed out many such glaring flaws in his revisionist rationalisation but he never properly addresses them.

Ah, the glory of being more than incidental bystanders.

We might be the apex of intelligence at this time on this planet, but claiming that to be true in the whole universe is not an easy sell. We have access to only a fraction of our brain power, and much of our DNA isn't doing anything. I can live with this, even if it is contrary to the Hebrew version of a handbook of the universe.

Lloyd Pye proposes that we were genetically engineered as competent slaves to suit the purposes of our otherworldly superior sponsors.

I use the phrase broadly, encompassing contributions from as far back as the early Egyptians.

From that perspective the nature of god is certainly still in question. This makes sense to me, chaos and creation are strongly intertwined, why should a creator god be static?

I tend to fall quickly into the atheist camp as soon as anyone becomes sure they understand god. Too much temptation for manipulation if you start convincing people you are right.

The focus on proving gods existence is actually a symptom that something is wrong with a religion. The message of "god" should be more important than faith in gods existence. The message should be obvious and clear to everyone in todays culture, otherwise its just a cult.

So, god may not have died yet, but religion is close to it.

The nature of the unknowable Absolute, the nonmanifest be-ness, the Prime Source ("The Father"), is considered to be vibrating so fast as to be motionless and attenuate beyond our ken. Thus He is the static full potential, pure consciousness. To get any action going, He has to move towards manifestation, hence becoming "the only begotten son," but still no more tangible than spirit. The next stage is "The Holy Ghost," the realization of active potentials, the separation of positive and negative charges, the duality of consciousness and energy, the Logos, the actual Creator God, the third stage of The Trinity. Beyond is the quaternary, which I won't elaborate on here. Thus Revelations refers to seven beasts with ten horns (five pairs). The top two lack those pairs (dualities).

The next time somebody claims to have a hot line to God, let's insist that it produce a description straight from the horse's mouth.

However, one needs to be grounded by a suitable God-concept. Since abstract thought on this subject is rather unavoidable, it's a judgement call as to what concepts seem to be more correct on the basis of logic, consistency, backing, etc.

The manipulation and propaganda are there alright, all for the glory of obsessive materialism to satisfy the hunger stemming from self-centered blindness. John 19:15 ... Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Ceasar.

The symptom of unconvincing doctrines and superficial understanding of scripture, perhaps. Anyway, since God is largely outside of our reality (the programmer is invisible to the program) and it is next to impossible to prove anything about a reality that is outside of ours, there shouldn't be emphasis on proving or disproving god's existence.

Right. Said faith is a passive dependency imparted by aforesaid manipulation and propaganda intended as diversion from empowerment by the message. Preistcraft wins, the people lose.

The optimistic viewpoint is that the pace in a positive shift in mankind's consciousness is picking up.

Sticky problems don't seem to fade away so easily. A double-edged sword is at work if the ones who turn away from religion embrace materialism, and the ones who embrace religion gain no understanding beyond the sheeple mindset. Meanwhile, Sheria Law is nipping at our heels.

I suppose you don't like the beginning. A belief system is an option. Some seem to make more sense than others. The choice also depends on what you're looking for.

When you begin with something like
do you expect it is going to be taken seriously?

Granted the Absolute etc. is abstract, but what's so hard about something being hidden by the escalating scale of atomic/molecular vibration?

Why make up something about it? You just made up a bunch of unsupportable assertions.

Reading something like you wrote, its not a difficulty figuring out abstractions as such, its all the baseless assertions wrapped up obscurantism. If you have an idea, try expressing it in simple terms.

I could get wound up and write stuff like that too Can you think of reasons not to?

Simple is harder than getting fancy. Just listen to a lawyer or businessman
churning out the jarg some time.

You didnt say if you really expect to be taken seriously.

It is not surprising that discussion in this thread ventures into subjective territory. Such discussion is pertinent despite some disconnect from tangible, objective reality. I don’t expect you to accept that kind of information if you don’t have any use for it.

Confining the scope of your perceptions to solid, empirical reality is your prerogative. Those of us who explore a wider scope have reasons for doing so. The information so generated is usually not just pulled out of thin air. There are sources of wisdom distilled from sages going back thousands of years. It is not the kind of superficial Bible-thumping that you may be accustomed to whacking.

The concept of the Absolute is nothing new. Likewise for the frequency scale giving rise to higher dimensions. If you’re not reading books that discuss these ideas, the business of satisfactorily elaborating them for you could be a heavy task.

In striving to stay reasonably concise, I did not anticipate a demand for simpler explanations or that things would be seen as baseless or obscure. At this point I'm not sure what to do about that. A typical source is Theosophy.

Unexplained phenomena until explained is nothing until science acts to disprove or prove it using rational methods. Evidence to me must be demonstrated that way to count.

My God is the giver of the breath of life, the God of the living, the maker of man with his hands from the dust of the earth.
My proof of him is my breath, I'm breathing. His name is YAH.
Now, I'll just hold this hand and wait to advance my perceptions, rather than start theorizing and going down a wrong path.
Power to demonstrate the power of God has always been the principle thing.
Yahushua was believed for his power, so was Paul, and the Apostles. It validates. Supernatural power validates, it always has, from Moses to the prophets, to Yahushua and his disciples.
RELIGION HAS LED MEN ASTRAY. AND JESUS SATANS PRODUCE MORE ATHEISTS THAN OTHER ATHEISTS, SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY FAKES. BUT, JUST BECAUSE JESUS SATANS ARE FAKE, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YAH IS FAKE TOO. THEY DON'T EVEN WORSHIP YAH.
Nowadays, all we have is fakes doing stunts to deceive.

    LOL

Evolution by random selections and chance made us the dominant species, we breath since we are adapted to our planetary biosphere over this process very natural and very fortunate for us. Nature at any time could decimate our species and replace us with a plague, natural disaster of global proportions or other event even aliens invading us and taking us out.

Now if you can prove this god scientifically as the only one and exists let us Atheists know.
