Whites are the most generous people in the world, and in my opinion, too generous. If China and every other country would have paid us for all the technology they were given to them by us, or stole from us, the world would owe us trillions, and trillions of dollars. Actually, I didn't learn about Hannibal being Black in public school. I learned it when I read Malcolm X's autobiography. To learn Black history you have to study outside of the public school system. All they teach you about Black folks is that they were in slavery. P.S. Were Phoenecians White?

I never learned that he was White either. I just learned that he was, Hannibal. However, Hannibal was a Carthaginian, which is in modern day Tunisia (North Africa). Now, Most North Africans even in that day are descendants of Europeans who migrated back to North Africa. Most Blacks in Africa were/are actually Sub-Saharan Africans, not North Africans, so your assertion that Hannibal was Black needs a little verification, at least for me to accept it. Hannibal was most likely NOT a White dude, as we see them today, and he was definitely African, but likely not Black. I am however very open to facts, and perfectly willing to accept correction on this point if you will be so kind as to provide me something FACTUAL that supports your assertion. Good post! I would only caution that we should be careful not to err to greatly in the opposite direction, and insist that some of these great peoples of antiquity MUST have been black either, without some real fact to substantiate the claim. Never the less, I mostly agree with your sentiment.

Blacks have the same history. It just isn't publicized; and you never made it out of Africa. But you did plenty of killing, enslaving, and colonizing right there in Africa. The Zulus are famous for their genocides. Africans held slaves. Africans colonized other Africans. You act like you had been living in perfect peace for thousands of years before the white man came. It's really not an issue to me at all so much as a point of interest. As both I am a son of immigrants(German) and my wife is the daughter of immigrants(Mexico), I've always been fascinated by the immigrant story, and cultural and racial intermingling. I think it's a really cool thing, to have mix race children. It's like we've made something new, something not often seen before, and it's beautiful. They(mix-race kids) are beautiful. They are the future, tribalism is a thing of the past.

So far, I've found me children to perform a levels far above average, both physically and intellectually, compared to the average Black, White or Latino, but that's more likely and artifact of great parenting than anything genetic.
