There are some conscientious members of the American Medical Association. Lee Merritt is one of them, as is Simone Gold. Those physicians who honor the Hippocratic Oath in helping their fellow man are quickly shunned by the Faucis of the world. Some doctors practice their duty to warn others, some take money from Pharma instead.
I have known three doctors and two midwives that were basically bullied by the AMA and their peers. It got so bad that all of them closed up shop. Two of them even left the state (they were literally tailing these people to find a reason to arrest them). Meanwhile, real complaints against doctors were being rubber-stamped as "insufficient evidence".
