Today a Federal judge in Philadelphia has barred Bill Cosby from attending the deposition his accuser gives in her defamation suit against a former district attorney. But the judge says Cosby's lawyers can review the deposition afterward to be sure Andrea Constand didn't violate the confidentiality settlement of her 2005 lawsuit against Cosby. 13 women are awaiting whether they will be allowed to take the stand as witness to prove a pattern of behavior from Cosby.

The guy was the very notion of what we refer to as an Icon. Then in the space of just a few years the Guy is barely mentioned in Hollywood,he is shunned,like no other Hollywood type in memory. More so than Fatty Arbuckle { kinda made a comeback } and then Charlie Chaplain. Now Cosby is virtually all on his own.Somewhat like Robert Blake. Has there ever been such a Fall From Grace in the annals of Hollywood. Not even for O.J. Simpson who was more a Sports legend than any Hollywood actor.But even still.The " Juice " managed to attract an entourage to help him into fancy restaurants and Golf Clubs.Not so with Cosby. He is firmly enscunced in Hiding.Like I said in my OP. I had 2 hero in high school.Marlon Brando and Bill Cosby. When I went to college my new hero was Pot .And my sidekick was beer. But still.Has there ever been such a dramatic and deep Fall from Grace ever in Hollywood.I mean, Alfalfa { of The Little Rascals } turned out to be a troublemaker.Ended up getting shot to death over a $ 50 dispute he felt owed him. The Irony here being that in the 1980's The Cos had one of The Highest Q scores ever as far as likability and popularity with 70.

Hollywood seems to be your whole life...try getting into the real world. You need to understand one thing - in cases of being raped, then yrs go by, there is no more 'hard evidence' than there is in the cases of young boys being raped by pedophile priests, then yrs later they come out and tell what happened to them.......same thing w/the Penn State & Jerry Sandusky case. Those boys had no one to go to for help at that time. Where's Sandusky now? In prison where he belongs..... This type of crime w/no evidence yrs later is not hard to understand. Cosby and crew are arguing " deprivation of due process rights " on account he was " promised by a District Attorney years ago he would not be Prosecuted ". I guess the ' Cos felt that meant he would never ever be prosecuted. Today's judgy wudgy also denied ' Cosby lawyers a motion to have a hearing to determine the " competency " of Other Cosby accusers { 13 thus far } who have come forward,legally. The very damaging Deposition that Cosby gave in 2005, " in which he acknowledged obtaining drugs to give to women he sought for sex is till up in the air." There's a whole lot to that deposition. How did Cosby OBTAIN those drugs? If not legally then he has to explain exactly and precisely how and where. If he did Obtain them legally,under what pretext. A Sore back.? Or he needed to alter his mood via a Mood Enhancer like a Quaalude in order to keep from falling into Depression. The findings on that speculation will be addressed in the next court date held for December 13 and 14. Those should be a real HooT.
"Verifiable credible proof".....well, of course. And then there's cases where the accused is convicted based on circumstantial evidence. Ever hear of Scott Peterson? He's a classic example of nothing but circumstantial evidence and he got nailed. Why is it that pedophile priests have been convicted after many yrs? Where was the 'verifiable credible proof' after all those yrs? Where's the 'verifiable credible proof' in any rape case after time went by? A Montgomery County Judge ruled today { Monday December 5 } That Prosecutors WILL BE ALLOWED to use Bill Cosby's Decade old { from 2005-06 } Testimony regarding his sexual past and use of drugs in his encounters with women. The ruling by Judge Steven O'Neil concluded that there was no such promise or agreement not to prosecute back 10 years ago by Prosecutors.Only an exercise in prosecutorial discretion existed. This is a result of the Deposition Cosby gave in 2005,portions of which were unsealed for the fist time last year.Leading to this new inquiry and now Trial. In that deposition there was acknowledgement that Cosby Had Given young women drugs or alcohol in past sexual encounters. Many of the women coming forth recently beg to differ.Their accounts are of Cosby drugging and then abusing them.

A charge such as Sexual Assualt or Molestation.Cosby already beat the charge of *Molestation because the statute of limitations for filing a Molestation charge {which is a misdemeanor} is One Year. The statute of limitation for filing a felony sex crime is 3 years. * which was declined by Los Angeles prosecutors in December of 2014 from a woman who claimed Cosby molested her around 1974. Keep in mind the 2005 lawsuit by a Pennsylvania woman was settled out of court. As of 2014 Cosby has never been charged in connection with any of the numerous allegations { 15 women had come forward by then }. Back in December of 2014 Prosecutors evaluated the charge Cosby would have faced in 1974.Prosecutors took into account legislative changes that extend the statute of limitations for certain crimes but found no way that Cosby could be legally prosecuted.
