It's not about the markets, it's about deliberately not alerting the media and health organizations an epidemic was on the way until it had some 4 months to spread outside the country. It's kind of true. I'm no fan of Omar but the constant need for folks to call this the China Virus or something similar is meant to be derogatory to the Chinese and nothing more. No, it's not just designating the region it came from. It's part of Trump's earlier push to blame everything on China. The folks who continually say this do so because they know it's derogatory and insulting.

 

China has indeed erected hundreds of coal-fired power plants over the past few years. But exactly who are the environmentalists that are defending that practice, Farnsworth? Please be specific.
