Tim Ryan 'all by his lonesome' as national Democrats ignore close Ohio Senate race (msn.com)
The lopsided funding has unnerved Democrats in Ohio and across the country, according to interviews with a dozen party leaders and operatives. Many worry that Democrats will regret not doing more to try to pull Ryan ahead of Vance, a right-wing ally of former President Donald Trump.

I wonder why they wouldn't help? Maybe Fetterman can campaign with him or better yet send Biden, I think the Republicans will be happy! anyone have a theory on this? I think they need the help elsewhere. But there are so many dems that could help.

They've already gotten their cheating in place there, so no need to spend money on that race!
At least, that's what I've heard from someone..........................

Pelosi slapped him upside the head?

J.D. Vance isn't from Ohio and his lips are solidly planted on Trump's ample arse (per Crooked Donnie)?

Whoa, if that's true, that's very sad. Off to do some cursory research.

This is surprising to me too. Everything I've seen about that race gives me the impression that it's pretty close. Ryan is a good candidate with a somewhat decent chance in a state where he would be replacing a Republican. Can't say I understand the thinking here.

It is a sound strategy for Ohio. He wants to distance himself from the DNC to show he is "independent" which is what Ohioans truly want in their senator. Remember, this wasn't even suppose to be a close race for GOP, but JD Vance is the one day I like Trump and the next day I don't like Trump type of strategy, along with his constant changing of stances on abortion and other key issues.

That was a hard sentence to identify as having sarcastic intent. Seriously.

    Apparently, sorry for that..
When I'm in a good mood I tend to be more sarcastic, thought the "At least, that's what I've heard from someone.........................." part was a giveaway, but you're not the only one who didn't get the sarcasm. Got two "likes" from the Trumpers. LOL
@ShadowX and @drluggit, if you want to remove your likes, I won't be offended.
I'm sure you're worried about it.
    Oops, there I go again!

    Well thank you good sir!
So I gave one back at ya!
In all seriousness, I think it's important to have humor in life.
I've always like the saying "why so serious?"

Yes, sarcasm.... And even when you folks say it outright, like Joe did when he referred to his world class election fraud staff... It is just the truth, no matter how sarcastic you might believe you were.

I was trying to be funny, but what's sad is how you, a seemingly intelligent person, can't accurately depict or understand what Biden said.

Ohio is a solid red state - Trump won by >8 points in 2020.
Thus, Ryan needs Republicans to vote for him.
Given that Ryan voted in lock-step with Pelosi- why would they do that?

(I've asked this on FB and Twitter innumerable times; most Ryan supporters don't understand the question)

Nah, we got him. He said what was true, and that's all that really matters. Even though he likely doesn't like having that quote out there. There are too many complicit mouthpieces in the media who are perfectly willing to parse him for the rest of us. I get it. It's embarrassing to let the cat out of the bag. He is a serial liar... We all know this. As Evita so wonderfully cried... Don't cry for me.. Ill be just fine.

I'd say it's like a marketing campaign that has to provide feelz for democrats to believe they have a shot there. If they do? That says a lot about their (democrat's) faith in their own ability to cheat.

It's not Republicans generally, it is independents who can vote Republican for Senator and Democratic for President. The point is, independents are more than likely to not vote straight or near straight party tickets when elections come.

    The fact, however, remains:
Ryan does not win if Republicans do not vote for him.
Given that Ryan voted in lock-step with Pelosi - why would they do that?

The president's not on the ballot, and Ryan doesn't appear to be doing well.

RUN AWAY! Tim Ryan, Who Twice Voted for Unlimited Abortion, Now States He Is Against Late-Term Abortions.

    Sure, Tim.

Republican candidate J.D. Vance: Ryan is “once again lying about his record because he’s too much of a pro-abortion extremist for Ohio.”

“Ryan has voted to make limitless taxpayer-funded late-term abortion legal in every single state. That’s way out of touch with the people of Ohio.”

    That's true.

    Betting odds are Vance 85%
    Ryan - 15%

I think it’s worth liking regardless of sarcasm. It’s exactly the type of post to expect from the left and is hilarious.
