There was a very fascinating article on the web last night
    concerning certain RMS Titanic facts.
Many of which most folk are unaware.
Take for instance ... What the Monogram RMS means.
It is used on many an English vessel of size.

Maybe for those like a young and vibrant Robert Wagner
as in the 1953 version of - Titanic - which is my favorite.
Outstanding leads by Clifton Webb and Barbara Stanwyck.
    They were ideally cast.

    How about some answers?

$30 for third class. So, when Jack and his friend won their tickets, they made off with $60.

We visited the Titanic museum in Branson MO. It turned out to be a lot more interesting than we expected. There's a full size copy of the grand stairway and I commented on how small it was. Turns out, the movie had to build it larger than the original because we've gotten so much bigger. The model is fascinating as are the rest of the displays.

I've read the movie was accurate, which makes it interesting to watch. but I could do without the constant JACK JACK ROSE ROSE dialog. And I loved the actress who played modern day Rose. Loved that woman's face.

I'm not all that crazy for Branson - liked the Butterfly Museum and the act that we went to see - an Irish dance troup that was good. Most of it is pretty lame.

The Grand staircase was purported to be a near replica of the
    Famous Ritz Hotel in London.

So he wasn't really a survivor... given that he's dead and all. :)
