Today is Monday, January 4th, 2021.

Yesterday, the 117th Congress of the USA was sworn-in. There's a thread about that HERE.

As expected, in the HOR, Democrat Nancy Pelosi was elected Speaker of the House of Representatives and Republican Kevin McCarthy was elected House Minority leader.

In the Senate, where the Republicans currently still have the majority, Mitch McConnell is Majority Leader and Chuck Schumer is Minority Leader. Whether or not that will change depends upon the results of Tuesday's two Senatorial runoff elections in Georgia.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today, both outgoing President Trump and incoming President(-Elect) Biden will be attending dueling rallies in the great state of Georgia in a last GOTV effort for their respective parties. Right now, Georgia is verifably ground zero in the political battle for the heart and soul of the nation. And to my knowledge, this is also a historical first: that a lame-duck President and an incoming President will both on the same day during the lame-duck session for competing rallies in runoff election (in this case, for 2 runoffs).

In a telephone call from last Saturday, Trump gave his best for a solid hour to pressure GA Republican SOS Brad Raffensberger to "recalculate" the presidential election results from Georgia, where Joe Biden (D) won, and declare Trump the winner. The telephone call was recorded and released to the press. You can read more about this criminal venture HERE. At posting #13 is the audio to the entire call, right there on the thread. Pretty shocking stuff.

The news of this telephone call and Trump's mafia-tactics may or may not have a deleterious effect on the Republican turnout in the GE-SEN runoff elections, both of which appear to be pretty tight. It also remains to be seen whether, during the day today and tomorrow, some Republicans in the HOR and the Senate who hitched their wagons to the Trump-train and were planning on contesting the electoral count during the joint session of Congress on January 6th, 2021, may change their minds. Doubtless they will be peppered with questions about this from the press all day long.

On January 6th, 2021, I will have a thread here in this forum, dedicated to live reporting about the 3-ring-looney-tunes that the GOP is planning to put on. Surely, the major news outlets and of course, CSPAN, will be streaming the proceedings.

At the end of the day, however, Joe Biden / Kamala Harris will both be declared the winners of the 2020 US presidential election and we can all move on from this post-election shitshow that Trump has forced upon all of us.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today in 16 days, the Democratic ticket will be inaugurated, with Joe Biden as our nation's 46th President and Kamala Harris as our nations 49th Vice-President.

Whether or not Donald Trump likes it, history is marching on without him. We will all be better off once he has exited the national stage and becomes a looney-tunes fringe figure, which is pretty much what the man was the entire time, anyway. Don't worry, his name will pop-up often enough, with literally thousands of court cases to be litigated against him and many of his cronies.

As soon as the unneccessary circus from Wednesday is over with, then I will report in detail about that plans for the Biden/Harris inauguration, which will be radically different than previous such pomp-and-circumstance events, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We likely won't know the results of the run off for a few days. It will be the most watched election counting in the history of this country.

Trump's, "All Georgians are fraudsters and thieves," tour could hurt the republican senate. We shall see.

I really prefer power be split. If the democrats take The Senate, it will be 100% Trump's fault. He really hates this country.

The right is still going on about Obama, so the democrats have a grace period of at least four years until they catch up.

No we aren't and Trump never did either but the next four years will be nothing but Trump whining as Biden fails to do anything, just watch.

    Thanks for admitting you lied:

Me: The right is still going on about Obama, so the democrats have a grace period of at least four years until they catch up.
    You: No we aren't

You can't remember your own posts. I'm happy to help.

You make up little arguments inside your head then debate them with yourself.

That is weird but very interesting.

Obama campaigned for Hillary and trashed Trump. He deserves no respect.

I don't think you are aware of what Trump represents to the 75 million, or so, who voted for him. At a MINIMUM, Trump has the power to effectively dissolve the current Republican Party. All he'd have to do is to ask his supporters to follow him into a 3rd Party. Yeah, at first blush that will seem like an awesome outcome for the Marxist/Globalist Left but they will not be able to moderate their plans at all, and America will burn after the Left uses a packed SCOTUS, no filibuster, and 2 new permanent Democrat Senators. The idiots will probably even delude themselves into moving against 2A in a very aggressive way.
The best outcome for the U.S. would be a formal secession movement. If those on the Left are stupid enough to actually believe they can force their will on tens of millions of other Americans, they'll quickly be disabused of that fantasy.

The bolded, in black: Oh, I am quite aware of this, but thank you for bringing it up.
The bolded, in red: LOL LOL LOL, you ok, bro?

With that being said, your last paragraph tells me that you need help. Here, let me help: 81.3 million votes (Joe Biden's national vote total) is +7.1 million MORE than 74.2 million votes (Donald Trump's national vote total). See how that works? It's simple math. The majority rules. Whoever thinks that should require secession is obviously a seditionist and US Legal Code covers that one, nöööö.

I don't think that you are aware that writing just jabberwockied malarkey only serves to make your behavior look like that of the Centaurian Loon during the mating season on it's 5th moon. Pro-tip: don't wanna look like a fool? Well then, don't write like a food.

Of course, the Trumpsuckers of the world NEEEEEEVUH forced their will upon the plurality of Americans who voted AGAINST Donald Trump in 2016. Why, of course, they were very nice and respectful of the Left's feelings:

And of course, none of those Trumpsuckers were avowed Nazis, nosiree:

Oh wait, I was wrong .They are ****ing horrible, horrible people, not worthy to be called Americans.

So, thank you for shopping at Costco and better luck to you next time.
