Why have people become so irrational about politics in the last couple decades..? People become irrational about politics precisely because government depressingly controls so much of our lives. Freedom is a far better solution than centralized govt control and will lead to a higher standard of living for all, especially the common man.
"Why have people become so irrational about politics in the last couple decades..? People become irrational about politics precisely because government depressingly controls so much of our lives." Divide and conquer. The centralized power wants MORE/ALL power, so it employs social engineers to stratify us into conflicted groups so our energy is dispersed, wasted resisting eachother instead of focussed on resisting the growing centralized power. "Freedom is a far better solution than centralized govt control and will lead to a higher standard of living for all, especially the common man." Agreed. But freedom is hard work. The centralized power has convinced many that life is easier/less risky under centralized collectivization, and people are lazy. Laziness is the mother of innovation, and so the controllers would have us think that we innovated collectivization to make our lives easier/better, when in reality they created it as an ultimate means to make their own lives easier/better with us as their dependent slaves.
Yes. Dividing the people into political factions is the ultimate dirty trick for every corrupt ruling political class. It is the way Big Government rolls.
Hey, we agree. The strategy is well proven. Social media has made it's effectiveness multiply in every dimension.
The differences that we see on this forum are exaggerated by the focus the MSM/political class gives to the narrow partisan debate in DC. It discourages extensive discussions aimed at discovering actual solutions to problems by keeping the focus on the Washington game show.
