It is even funnier watching middle class wanting to support the shiftless and lazy. I am not jelious of the people richer than me. They earned it except for the politicians who are criminal.

What's funnier is watching you whine while you've got all your marbles bet on the success of an index based on Trumps success.

the Dow Jones Industrial Average is not based on trump's success.

its based on the perceived and real performance of 20 selected companies.

Funny, I don't remember you bitching when you made 35% gains between Trump's inauguration and January 2018. Where was your outrage then? :roflol:

Also needed to be asked, do you not know how to invest? Do you need some index fund to show you how to wipe your butt? Wait, don't answer. I know.

    and?

A very small group of the richest people, I believe it was the top 10 or 20... maybe it was 100 but I think it was the top 10], in the country could pay off the national debt and still have money left over - like a million dollars each.

So with all the bs the righties preach, all of this national debt crisis could be correct virtually overnight with a reasonable distribution of wealth.

Given the current trajectory, 1% of the country is going to own virtually all the wealth. That is the result of the Republican economic goals.

Thats pretty irrelevant because income taxes are only 1/3 of all taxes. So the top 20% pay 87% of 33% of taxes, shocking. Other taxes tend to be regressive and hit the middle class and poor harder so how do you know it doesn't all balance itself out? Also, just the top 10% earns 52% of all income which is just crazy high inequality so it is not shocking that the top 20% pay 87% of 33% of taxes.

I could become very rich by killing all of my neighbors and used their credit cards, stealing their cash and selling their homes. I guess you would be OK with that too?

Income taxes are half of all federal income taxes. The top 20% pay practically all of that. Payroll taxes are one third of all federal taxes, corporate income taxes and excise/estate taxes are one tenth each respectively. Payroll taxes go to social security and medicare benefits which are progressive for the lower income quintiles. You inequality argument is absurd.
