You do understand why Germany was pissed. Right? Snowden even revealed where we Germans have our spy detection systems. Snowden revealed where we Germans have shared spy operations with you.

In chemistry, it’s pretty easy to get around such problem - you can add a tiny amount of neutral substance, you can rearrange molecules, and so on.
Why do you think you can get ahold of synthetic drugs? You can’t outlaw all of them, or the substances that don’t exist yet, and all it takes is slightly altering chemical makeup of the substance and you are back in business.
I seriously doubt German patents are going to be an issue here.

Thats great. Same counts for your patents then. American pharma corporations will be full of joy when we simply change their product a bit and offer it cheaper.

There is a reason why your laws act strict against this, because it would doom all your own patents.

You do realize that you are comparing different things. Testing and developing new steel alloy cannot be compared to copying a drug and just rearranging its chemicals. You need to go through new drug release process - do clinical trials, research, you know - all bells and whistles of releasing a new drug. This takes many years, costs a lot and at the end you can find out that rearranged substance causes cancer, which results in you losing billions.

Why losing billions? Simply ignore the law.

We also can copy evrything google makes and change the surface. Who gives a **** about patents?

Dude you show your low intellect.

Huh? You're saying Canada can't afford to reduce tariffs and quotas on U.S. goods? We're the ones placing a tariff on Canadian aluminum and steel.

They cannot afford NOT to reduce trade restrictions on US goods and services. And of course they cannot afford to retaliate (as the dumba$$ Trudeau has threatened to do) with escalating Canadian tariffs and restrictions on imports from the US.

Relevance? Canadians in all three major federal parties are behind retaliating for U.S. tariffs. Trudeau included former Conservative PM Mulroney and former interim Conservative Leader Ambrose on his team for dealing with NAFTA negotiations. Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has taken issue with Trudeau over not doing enough to protect Canadian steel workers--there's a by-election in a riding with a lot of steel workers--but otherwise he's been supportive.
Very little "pop," as you put it, because there's no disagreement from the opposition parties.
It's a turning point because Canada negotiated a free trade agreement with the EU, is a member of the TPP, is in talks with Mercosur, and has had exploratory talks with China. A trade agreement with China would indeed be a turning point. Clearly, Canada is prepared to cinsider dealing with China to maintain prosperity.

Will Trudeau lose in 2019? Maybe. He's having political problems over the Trans Mountain Pipeline. That he'll lose is by no means certain.
I was involved in Canadian politics in British Columbia, so spare me your absurd insults.

That’s all a dead end for Canda. The EU is a joke and China will dominate them.

The country with the largest amount of raw materials in the free world is strong enough to survive without a U.S. trade agreement.

I dont know what you trybto achieve. Those Trumpists are completly immune to arguments. They somehow believe they can bully evryone into the dirt and expect a thank you. Then when in return they get a kick in the face, they cry how unfair evryone is.

First what indicates they will be low wage jobs? Most tech jobs pay very well. Second, you jumped through hoops cheering about all the minimum wage and part time jobs Obama created. Why the change of heart?

Many countries will be happy to fill the gap and take those low wage jobs. They will produce the same junk at the same price or even lower.

Attacking Canada and Europe? There is a new sheriff in town. The US isn't gong to bend over any more. If you want to deal with the US it will be on an equitable level. If they don't like the deal Trump offers, simply peddle you stuff somewhere else.

Canada doesn't need us to survive. They're sitting on a treasure house of natural resources.
Canada was prepared to work with us on pressuring China, but probably not at this point. The Canadians are still wary of the Chinese, but they're willing to cut tariffs on Chinese goods. I doubt Canada will allow China to buy up their resource companies.
The U.S. under Trump doesn't have that kind of pull in Canada.
Trump is so unpopular in Canada that any Canadian politician siding with us while we're jerking them around will be run out on a rail.
I had to look it uo on a map. I've never been anywhere near the place. As I said, I live part of the year in Canada. I spend more time there now that I bid Napa, CA adieu in favor of Oregon. My wife and I travel a great deal. I'm familiar with southern Ontario, not cottage country.

The quality of German cars has taken a big dive over the last few years. I have a SL Roadster, doesn't have 20K miles on it and has been in the shop 3 times. All my friends who used to be big German car people are saying the same. I just bought my wife a Jaguar XJ and it is twice the car the Mercedes is. I won't buy another German car. If I am going to pay a premium price for a car, I want a premium car. GM now makes cars that are more reliable than the Germans for half the price.

Beyond that a great number of so called German cars are not made in Germany. Germany has no labor pool. The population is aged, the East Germans don't have the work ethic, education, or the skill sets of the West Germans and their Muslim immigrants don't know what a wrench is.

Another question. What is an apprentice police man? Is that like a mall cop?

Judging from the price of US made steel over the last weeks Canada, Mexico and the EU don't need to do anything. The price of US made steel is up about 40%. Wonderful.... We just priced ourselves out of more foreign markets.
