You were asked where you got that "consensus" from.... we all note that you didn't answer, just condemned. That doesn't help your credibility at all.

Virtually all mainstream media is covering the pandemic on a daily basis with the latest statistics and experts who strongly recommend both vaccinations and masks. That's my "consensus." What's your's?

Exactly. You say the National Debt is bad. Are you therefore against buying US Savings Bonds?

I'll use the same source you do... none. I guess I read it somewhere or heard it somewhere just like you did.

Is the 8 hour day a joke? 100% free education of any level for any member of society is this a joke? 100% free medicine of any complexity for any member of society is that a joke? The complete absence of unemployment is also a joke? .... Paid sick leave, 100% paid parental leave .... free apartments, .... and much more, too, a joke?
Or will you argue that none of this was in the USSR?
Incidentally, Kennedy spoke about Soviet education in the January 29, 1963 "Special Message to Congress on Education." "Soviet universities graduate three times as many engineers and four times as many doctors as the United States."
He also noted the successes of the Soviet Union in the fight against illiteracy: "Since the beginning of the century, the proportion of people in the USSR with more than 7-grade education has grown 23 times. This nation's passion for education is certainly enough to surpass the achievements of any other nation or system." ...
"The USSR is supported by an annual inflow of scientific and technical personnel more than double that of the American one," Kennedy said.

But maybe you will argue that Kennedy is lying?

When it comes to the country, you seem to think that debt is the key to prosperity. Do you feel this way about your family finances? Does your spouse know?

Stalin killed millions in the Ukraine. Subjugated Eastern Europe by force (especially Hungary). Great country, huh?

And as for their engineers and doctors... who set foot on the moon and who didn't? Who built the space station... and who didn't? How are Russian cars respected in the international market compared to US ones? Who did the first heart transplant... and who didn't?

Then you should draw the same conclusions. What state do you live in and what are the recent statistics?

I am a widower...but we've long been completely out of debt. Responsible debt, however, does drive growth, since it's a pledge for future payment. The credit crisis of 2007-2009 was an illustration of what happens when too much credit is combined with overvalued assets.

I live in Texas. I moved here four years ago and bought a home. I moved here from California. I was born and raised in New York. Due to the military and Lockheed, I have owned homes or been a legal resident in Massachusetts, Virginia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Florida, and New Hampshire. Due to the relatively inexpensive nature of real estate here, property taxes are far from high. State sales tax in CA is 7.25% and there is no limit to add-on county and town sales tax. Here in Texas, state sales tax is 6.25% and the total, with county and town taxes added on, cannot exceed 8.25%. I'd say that your claim that Texas taxes are high is somewhat ... WRONG.

Think you are confusing me with someone else. I asked about the state you lived in in regard to Covid statistics...not real estate or taxes.

Assuming the debt ceiling isn't a fiction.
    I suppose.
i don't think you understand what causes inflation.
Inflation is a bit high at the moment (5.4%), but will come down as we ease back on handing out money.

Trump doubled the deficit with his tax giveaway to rich people (85% of the income tax cut went to people making $400,000 a year), so he didn't help things.
    This is irrelevant.
No, they will not be making forecasts.
    Your word salad is meaningless.
    This is meaningless, too. Egads.
The Fed isn't going to "to stop showing others the numbers." That's nuts.
