    Indeed.

Ms. Bristol Palin said her mother, Mrs Palin, already had made her decision. This was late June, I thought it was in July. When the reporters asked her what the decision was, she said that "some things need to stay in the family".

Thanks to the Colbert Report and the Daily Show --

I posted information about refunds earlier. If you sent her a big fat check and want it back, by all means... tell her. She'll be glad to send it back to you.

You can refuse to believe the FACTS I presented earlier if you want to. Doesn't matter... hundreds of people 'test the waters' before every election, especially presidential elections. Money they raise thru DONATIONS are used to pay the expenses of their early efforts... if they decide not to enter the race, the money is either refunded or channeled to another candidate with permission from the donor.

It's not that complicated, janpor. You're trying to make a point without any facts to back it up. Won't fly.

Your "proof" seems to refer to candidates who are actually running for office and not political action committees.

If Sarah Palin knew months ago that she was not running and still solicited funds for her PAC under the pretense of considering it, while it may not be illegal it was still pretty (*)(*)(*)(*)ing scummy.

Now I have never heard of PACs giving refunds on donations. If that is indeed your claim, I think that it is a bit on the ridiculous side.

Maybe you should take civics lessons with the foreigner.

It would appear the foreigner and I are correct.

There is no law, no rule that states a PAC, like what Palin has, has to give refunds if they decide to not run for office.

    Link to the rules.

Actually, you're half right, TFM. Since she wasn't an officially declared candidate, she's not required to abide by the same rules. Here's more on the subject:

From a Washington Post article about the controversy surrounding Palin's bus tour, which some considered a 'vacation' -- LOL, who does she think she is, Michelle Obama?

Like I said before, the argument is irrelevant. We're talking about DONATED money, not tax dollars. It's nobody's business what she does with the money. The fact that it will be used to further conservative politicians must be the real concern here, huh? That must really stick in lib craws.

Actually I am entirely right. I never said jack (*)(*)(*)(*) about the legality of her little bus tour. I simply said her PAC is not required to offer refunds as you asserted. Please don't try to move the goalposts and insinuate I am somehow incorrect in this.

Totally irrelevant, since the rules you posted are for people running for office. Mrs Palin isn't running for any office whatsoever.

Stop trying to deceive us, you know you are wrong about this and it would adorn you for you to admit your mistakes.

    :disbelief:

It is factual information, yes. But it's completely irelevant. It would be like giving a presentation on the depths of the Oceans at a conference on outer space.

Doesn't make sense -- at all!

Your factual information you have presented is not relevant since Mrs Palin never ran for the office of president.

    Yes, it does matter.

People who "test the waters" set up a so-called "exploratory committee".

And Mrs Palin never set-up a so-called exploratory committee -- NEVER!

For crying out loud, woman! Seems the "foreigner" (as you seem to call me) understands your own electory system better than you. This, by the way, is the overall tragedy of the United States: you are being beaten in your own game. Stop slacking.

Yadda, yadda, yadda -- more irelevant nonsense.

    *shaking on chair from laughter*

Stop trying to fool us, you know you are wrong about this and it would adorn you for you to admit your mistakes.

The arrangement is perfectly legal, campaign-finance experts say. SarahPAC is set up as an unconnected PAC, meaning that the usual restrictions on candidate committees don’t apply.

LOL, entirely right isn't exactly the term I'd used to describe your politics, but if it makes you feel better... you're right... due to the way her PAC was set up, she doesn't have to refund contributions. However, she's such a nice person, I'm sure if you asked for your money back, she'd be glad to send it to you.

    Wanna prove she wouldn't?

Really? Is that why I said this earlier?

Petty little personal attack aside, yes, I am correct.

Do I want to prove something I did not allege, do not care about, and that there is no way of proving? Nope. I leave that nonsense to folks that make claims then fail to support them.

If this is the quality standard of right wing pornographic material, I can understand why they're all so frustrated.

I am mitten's shoe rack and I can confirm that he had a medical procedure to make his horn removable which is why you never see it. Yes, I can confirm that Mitt Romney is a unicorn.

The article in the OP sounds like a piece of teen trash, something only the likes of Justing Bieber die-hards would find worth reading. Its cute though how so many of the cons still think that others scoff at Palin because they are intimidated by her intellectual abilities. I love Palin. She's easy on the eyes and you any time she opens her mouth is good comedy. Its a win win.
