Hello guys,I've been looking for a forum to write my question about a branch of math called trigonometry.I excpect you to answer it because this is a subject that is taught in high school (some of you graduated for sure).
well, our teacher for electronic told us there is a concrete proof for trigonometry formulas and right after started drawing a perfect circle on the board,he said that nobody would deeply understand trigonometry without this proof.Afterwards,he divided the circle into four parts called "quadrants".
At last,he stretched lines across the upper right quadrant to create some triangles inside.Naturally, every line across the circle created another angle together with this central point of the axis.Up then,he related the circle to a graph in order to prove there is something common between the shape of the built circle and the steep graph.I still don't know how he could do it (can't find a specific reason for doing this). Maybe let me bring you a drawing that explains well what i wanted you to figure out.

here is a link to wide explantation about the subject hopefully it will help you somehow.

Me I barely got past just plain math, you know 1+1 kind of stuff.

What's it like taking " plain Math ".I took average Math once and
got average grades that were figured on a curve.
Yeah the teach had a nice rack.Pretty short skirt some days also.

All of my teachers were old, real old and wore real long dresses. So it was called just plain old math.

what kind of a conversation has it become ?
there should have been helpful responses but i've got only complaints about wrong education in usa instead. why's that ?
ill thank the person who will a little help me figure what it is about because all the shapes and lines mess my brain up.

I can probably answer your question, but you're going to have to be a little more specific on the problem you're having. What is it exactly you are have trouble with? A specific trig question or the concept of the trig your teacher showed you?

What the hell are you trying to ask? Are you inquiring about Thale's Theorem?

according to the law of the circle it is possible to fit two quadrants and create one triangle inside so this means it would create a steep graph thus having the shape of the built circle.

Now this is why I'm one of those crazy fundamentalists who thinks some people have no business learning trigonometry before studying analysis.

Uncle Ferd says the hypotenuse is equal to the square of the right angle...

... dat's all he remembers from high school trig...

... also sumpin' called CPTPC but he don't recall what it stands fer.

I would like to know how he has connected the circle to a graph.
he has always marked heights along the 3rd (the upper right one),i misunderstand where they are.
The other thing i misunderstand is how he has marked the sides of the built triangles as angles.

this is for whom told i have doubts over the tigonometry theory,he's wrong.
I've already realized there is something reasonable but could not find what it is yet.
first of all,it isn't so urgent because electronics doesn't directly focus on math,it says that all our teacher has taught is just to expand our general knowledge of math.
often, this issue is taught only next class when the students have richer knowledge of the trigonometry world.

Oh yea, Uncle Ferd `membered sumpin else...

    ... if A=B an' B=C, den A is equal to C...

... dat means if a wheel fits onna Chevy pick-up truck...

... an' it fits onna Dodge pick-up truck...

    ... it'll prob'ly fit onna Ford.
