They've seen the effects of the flourescent nail polish the gay guys use in terms of giving away their position to the enemy so of course they are against Obama and his homoerotic policy making.

Rainbow painted M16's? That crap has to go!

After 4 years the troops overwhelming want to dump their Commander in Chief. So much for Obama being able to honestly speak on behalf of the military. The current troops serving have spoken and they say Obama needs to go. Good for them!

Actually, isn't 2-1 pretty good, historically, for democrats?

The military is pretty much ordered to vote republican, isn't it? What about that little pro-republican pamphlet that circulates around, telling the troops that democracy is bad and representation creates statesmanship, or somesuch nonsense?

I think, from a military point of view, it only makes sense to support Romney, or republicans in general, as a whole.

Republicans are much better for the war industry than democrats.

Think about it. No wars, no jobs.

    Makes perfect sense to me.

I served the military for about 10 years, total. Never once was I told how to vote.

In fact, never once do I remember even discussing politics in the military. The guy in the picture frame behing the Master Chief's desk was our president. I don't remember anyone really giving it much thought.

In the military, it's "Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss," as far as I could tell.

It is no wonder that military absentee ballots are down 90%. I wonder why that is?

Same as it was last year. But 2-1 doesen't quite sum it up. Lets just say slightly over 2-1.

The military is constantly recruiting. The most heavy Democrat strongholds in the military are among the non combat arms jobs where people can receive the benefits without serving in combat. Among combat arms and intel, however, Republicans actually do enjoy a great deal of support. Nevertheless, combat arms and intelligence MOS's have a lower retention rate than any other job. One because of the hardships and the other because of outside job offers. What to make of this? The republican strongholds in combat arms that you claim benefit from a military industrial complex actually does not, seeing as most of them don't hang around outside 4 years of service. Face it, the propensity for conservatives/republicans to risk their lives for this country is just 150% higher than that of Democrats.
