    Indeed an outcry there was. Many headlines have called this decision a ban on hope and said it was going to hurt many more babies that it would save.

    But is it really Trump and pro-lifers vs science and lifesaving research? Is it really that simple?

    Actually, if you dive a little bit deeper into this topic turns out there are two types of fetal tissue. One is taken directly from the ongoing abortions and the second one is cell lines when the tissue has been taken from an aborted fetus a long time ago and then has been preserved and cultivated in a laboratory.

    It's the first type of the material use of which Trump administration tries to limit and it's the second one that is used for the development of vaccines and other types of lifesaving research.
