One more time, a right-winger repeats a conspiracy theory they got from the Fox echo-chamber with no basis, no links, no references.... in response to the left-winger who does provide references, facts, links.... Because they think that repeating the same lie over and over will make it true (I wonder who they got that idea from....)

    Thanks for playing anyway.

First, because the pandemic did not occur during their administration. And second, because they never predicted that Trump was such an idiot that he would restock it as soon as he was alerted of one. They left everything in place: A 70 page step by step guide that any idiot could follow of what to do in case there was a threat of a pandemic (including re-stocking the supplies that would be needed). And a WH office intended to monitor the situation, alert the President so they could start implementing the guide.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/25/trump-coronavirus-national-security-council-149285

Trump dismantled the office early on in his administration, and threw the guide into the trash. And just did.... nothing!

All your questions are answered above. Do you have any more?

And the rest is just unsubstantiated talking points you heard on the Fox echo-chamber, as proven by the fact that you provided ZERO links.

So that means that Trump offered to help China prepare, but refused to alert his own country so we could prepare. Interesting. I think you have pointed out one more sign of incompetence by this administration.

Not only is that extremely late, but... what use are "levels" if the President is going to minimize the threat and taking no real actions?

Wow! You're finding more signs of incompetence. Because he failed at that. Right now there is panic. Or what did you think "panic" looks like?

If what you mean was that he didn't want to cause panic "sooner".... I would have happily traded early panic for human lives.

So it's not his fault that I don't like people dying? Which is the main thing I "don't like". But I also don't like that Trump didn't give businesses time to prepare. Which will produce more losses.

You're right. I don't like how he handled it because it has exacerbated the crisis unnecessarily. Which objectively shows that he is not fit for the job.

Now you hit the nail on the head. He didn't alert us because he feared the political consequences. So what's a few thousand lives more, if that helps ge him reelected, right?

Are you sure you're trying to defend Trump? Looks like you've pointed out more incompetence than even I did.

A stay at home order would have no legal power to keep you from going out, but there are ways in which it can be enforced. For example, it can be enforced at a federal agency level. But, more importantly, it would move idiots like the governor of my state to issue one. He can do more than "suggest it". He can exhort governors to implement it, which would have moved the governor of my state, who is Trump's lapdog, to implement it sooner and save lives.

Why has that become an argument on the right? I guess because Trump has made it an argument by repeating it over and over. But it's a dumb argument. Everybody who has moral values and is not a hardcore Trump loyalist hates his guts. Even those who deny it. Even his own family. That has nothing to do with anything anybody does.

    Mask! Ventilators! Protective equipment! ....

Where have you been? Are you not following the news? Of course you aren't. I bet you are one of those stuck in the Fox echo-chamber. I suggest you do watch real news some time, because believing Fox could cost lives.

    No they didn't!!!

You are about the fifth right winger who says that. And you will be the fifth to not provide one or simply disappear from the conversation when you are asked to show a quote and reference to support your claim!

    So why waste time?

They repeat what China says when they're quoting China. It's what the word "quote" means.

Looks like this is new to you. Now I understand why you never show quotes and references when you make your wild claims.

As for "checking facts", the W.H.O. has no authority to tell China that they don't believe them and just barge in and check for themselves every time there is some outbreak.

But the U.S. does have intelligence agents. And they alerted Trump very early on. Now there are even reports (unconfirmed) that he might have been made aware of this in November. We will know soon enough if they're true or not.

Don't worry, bro. No human to human transmission.

Funny enough, Reddit was well aware there WAS human to human transmission at least a week before that statement was made.

Even still, a month later, the NYC Health Commissioner said it was no big deal.

You want me to cite that, too?

Why quote China at all? The WHO dropped the ball bigtime.

You have zero proof of your "intelligence agents" claim. Are these the same folks who claimed Iraq had WMD's?

Many in our government was claiming it was no big deal. Pelosi was saying it, Deblasio was saying it, Cuomo was saying it, etc.... yet the Trump haters have to scream "orange man bad".....

Right! Because a President has no authority to order anybody to do it for him.

BTW, did you know that it made sense for Obama not to replenish the emergency stockpile? We know this is true because much of the stock was found to be too old or had expired when it was actually needed.

    https://abcnews.go.com/Health/feds-...les-items-expired-officials/story?id=69770784
(Damn left wingers! Always saying things and then showing references! Why don't they learn from the good folk on the right to just repeat what they hear on the radio and never show references for anything!)

Knowing this, Obama did the next best thing: create an office in the WH in charge of monitoring the situation so they would have ample time to restock whatever would be needed. Guess what Trump did with that office... He also left a step by step instructive that any half-witted idiot (not accounting for complete idiots like Trump) could follow. Guess what Trump did with the guide....

(.... and... there I go again!)

Well you certainly think yourself an intelligent fella, maybe I can have better luck with you on this question?

Why is it Mr. Obatard didn't have that priority (Restocking the stores) when he became president? Even when hit with H1N1 in the first month of being sworn in?????

Just can't help yourself can you? You just HAVE to cherry pick things apart and spin em. No wonder you don't like Trump. You don't know how to take things in context. The funny thing is? Everything that you said here didn't deny any of my facts. All you did was attempt to deflect. That's all you've got. Deflection and spin. Sad that you refuse to admit facts.

No doubt there are some, but not many.

Liberal ran areas were hit the hardest, likely due to them not taking it seriously enough.

I think some areas of the country should as some states have already hit their peak days ago, and others will here in a few days.

    But my point still stands.

Where is the "quote"? Do you know what the word "quote" means? Looks like suddenly the right has a language problem that makes them forget what certain words mean.

Here is what you said: "The WHO said it was no big deal in Jan." See the bold part? It doesn't say "Chinese authorities", does it.

Looks like you are now backing away. You can say it. There is no shame in retracting.

No. That was Dick Cheney. These are real intelligence reports given to Trump in real intelligence briefings. The W.H.O. has done an outstanding job, to the best of their abilities. Even making available early testing methods that this asterisk President* refused to use

No Golem I'm asking you a question, was it really that difficult for you to understand :roll:

Why is it Mr. Obatard didn't have that priority (Restocking the stores) when he became president? Even when hit with H1N1 in the first month of being sworn in?????

Things like masks have expiration dates LOL Your nonsense like expiration doesn't fly.. So Mr Obatard found NOT restocking even in his last years of Presidency would have had an expiration issue on the next president less then 12 months away? Sound like a lot of BULLSHIT to me :)

You have zero proof of your claims. Trump has done a stellar job given the FACT that the WHO dropped the ball.
