Trump is upset he was left out of negotiations for deal, so guess he could still not sign it, but hope he will
repubs and dems both can call this a win repubs can say dems blinked first dems can say they got chip and a promise for DACA if republicans fail to get DACA addressed in 3 weeks and there is another shutdown, that will be all on republicans if republicans fail to protect the dreamers, that will be a huge issue for the midterms
Trump made DACA a issue, Republicans have 3 weeks to address it or the government will shut down again
LOL, sure, the dems made it an issue by trying to hijack a budget bill and of all things, blame Trump, but that is what useful idiots are for.
the good news is congress will have to do a up down vote on daca... so we will see everyone that doesn't support dreamers
dems got this issue noticed, they blinked, smart move, take chip, then give republicans 4 weeks to get DACA addressed, if they fail to do that, the public will then be upset with republicans for going back on their word I do agree with you though, if daca passes it's not really a win for democrats as it takes both parties but if DACA fails to pass, it will hurt republicans badly during the midterms
Ummmm, you missed the part where Mitch McConnel literally objected to that resolution ? https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4710181/senator-mcconnell-objects-military-pay-protection It’s in the first 2 minutes of the video
That's because GOP has not given DEMs ANYTHING. GOP should simply give DACA, which majority of Republicans are in favor for anyway and cash in billions for military and wall without DEMs whining about budget deficit, like GOP normally does when DEMs want to spend money.
60% means 10 Democrats were asked if they want to give citizenship to ~500,000 poor starving scared little children and 6 of them responded yes. People don't know the Democrat agenda because MSM isn't reporting it. Its not 500,000 kids its like 5 million now adults. Its not 7 million illegals its more like 50 million illegals. People are supporting something they think is minor and inconsequential but in reality it is massive and destructive. So don't say "60% of Americans". Say "60% of the uninformed dumbasses that were polled".
"constitutional interpretation" The document is in plain English and available for all to read. I've read it. Furthermore I took the time to search for previous SCOTUS rulings on the matters of immigration. There is a lot of interesting stuff and its available to all of us. We don't need to depend upon the self-anointed scholars, /cough the media, to tell us what to think. We can read and learn for ourselves. Wouldn't you agree? Of course you would.
There was no court ruling that Omar Mateen was guilty of killing all of those people in Orlando. By your logic he didn't kill those people because a court didn't rule that he was guilty of doing it. Yea. A SCOTUS ruling doesn't make something unconstitutional, it just affirms it for the purposes of law. If you burned your finger you wouldn't need a doctor to say that you had in fact burned it, but the insurance adjuster would need that doctor to say you had. We don't need the SCOTUS to tell us something is unconstitutional, we need them to rule in order to codify it into law.
The uninformed dumbass claim is that there are 50 million illegals. The uninformed dumbass is the one that thinks that the Dreamers have done some thing illegal. Any further questions ?
Why are you calling them Dreamers? The DREAM Act never passed? DACA was Obama's illegal end-run around Congress to implement elements the DREAM Act when Congress rejected it. Call them DACAers. And their original crime was illegally invading the country of America.
Obviously - I am referring to people who were brought here as very young children or born here. People who did nothing illegal.
Its a touchy issue but their age does not mean they aren't in violation of the law. They did, in fact, illegally immigrate regardless of if they were aware of it or not. They are still now, in fact, illegally residing in America regardless of if they are aware of it or not (and most of them are now since its been four years). The choice is to do anything about it or not.
The age certainly does matter but primarily it was that they had no choice in the matter. To convict someone of a crime in this nation you need to have 2 things. 1) Actus rea, 2) Mens rea 1) Actus rea means you have to have committed the crime. A baby being brought into a country has not committed any crime - the parents did but the baby did not. See Rule of Law (One person is not to be punished for the crime of another) 2) Mens rea means you have to have "intended" the crime. This is the basis of the criminal insanity defense - how can you prove what a crazy person intended. Clearly a baby did not intend to come here. So, on both counts ... Not Guilty. You can not legitimately say that these people have committed any crime... at least not on the basis of rules by which the US Justice system claims it operates.
Wow didn't get any of that? Personally I walked away from the video with far more then what you posted! "So trump's budget chief in arguing its the dems fault was at a loss to explain why the COMMANDER IN CHIEF is doing EVERYTHING its within his considerable power (he knows guys) to GUARANTEE ALL military wages and benefits are uninterrupted and secure.the" With all due respect, I can't even begin to understand what this sentence is meant to imply! Hardly match's anything spoken to in the Video!
Sorry you couldn't decipher. Most others figgered it out. Mighta needed a finger or two in the figgering, but I doubt it.
