Today I watched Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. Ordinarily, I like Chris Wallace; he is usually a straight shooter--just as hard on left-wing guests as he is on right-wing guests. Today, however, I was rather disturbed by his regular references to Roger Stone as a "friend" of Donald Trump: Although these references were technically true, they left the impression that their friendship was behind the commutation. Perhaps it was. And perhaps it wasn't. (The president says that Roger Stone was treated quite unfairly--with this, presumably, being the reason for the commutation.) I think it would really be better to leave unimplied that which one cannot prove...
Deep State Is Panicking Over President Trump’s Commutation of Roger Stone Because His Appeal Will Reveal RUSSIA NEVER GAVE EMAILS TO WIKILEAKS It was all always all lies.
If Russia didn’t give emails to Wikileaks, then why does the indictment of the Russian hackers still stand? Barr has time to help Flynn and stone, but no time to stop framing Russia?
