Agreed. I have always wondered is what justifies a married couple having more benefits than a single person ? They should have less if anything as two people sharing a dwelling have less expenses.

If you have kids ... OK ... that is different but, the benefit should be on the basis of how many kids you have and not on the basis of two people forming a civil partnership.

Seems not that long ago they tended to be more sexually liberated than most of society but - along with limiting free speech and providing inadequate education - in hindsight it seems inevitable that they move into the sexual arena as well.

Perhaps marching through the streets shouting slogans, vandalism, or destroying public property is the only real alternative they have for the sexual frustrations they suffer in their private lives.
