    The president has the authority to declassify things.

    That doesn't mean that he declassified anything. There must be a record of declassification, before anything is actually declassified.

    Trump can't just say I did it. That isn't how it works.

    How many times does the same nonsense have to be debunked. People are so desperate to defend Trump that it is pathetic. Sad and pathetic.

    The president has the power to declassify things.

    There is no evidence to suggest that Trump declassified anything that was taken from his country club. There is a record created when things are declassified.

    A record of the declassification being created is not at the discretion of the President.

    Other people have to be made aware of the declassification.

    You really have no idea what you are talking about.

    And Trump didn’t steal anything. Everyone knew he had the documents, everyone knew where they were, he was negotiating the the people that knew he had the documents and where they were. That’s not theft, that’s a disagreement.

    They did not legally belong in his custody or possession. He took them anyway. He was asked for them. He received a subpoena for them. His lawyer said that all such documents had already been turned over. That was lie. That's only a "disagreement" in the sense that it is Trump disagreeing with the law.

    Then why did Trump keep the docs for well over a year . . . after being asked for them . . . after receiving a subpoena . . . after claiming he returned them when he actually hadn't? Sounds like anyone who falls for such a dumb-as-a-lobotomized-rock excuse has brains that are in deep doo doo.

    By the way, low-level interns have no access to TS/SCI docs. Learn. Think.
