You asked the wrong question . The right question is why didn’t the state deploy its nuclear arsenal. Stops any protest literally dead in its tracks. The state allows violence to break out. They have the means to stop the violence but they don’t use it effectively-why? The FBI knew that the crowd was going to do something but the state didn’t handle it properly. It wasn’t communicated properly. The question then becomes why. Insurrgencies like this have to happen with the consent of the state. Not all parts of it but enough. If you can’t understand the difference between politically motivated violence vs nonpolitically motivated violence then that’s fine. I struggle with it too. I’m always glad to meet another feminist out there!
No violence at the Capitol. Trump is gone. Time to focus on Biden. He is already messing things up. America is about to experience it's worst president ever. Thank the Democrats for that.
Yes, they are. That's why they taunt police officers, whom they know can't fight back, and wear masks to conceal their identities. And ... I'm glad to hear it.
That bar is so low it's in China. China Don. Beijing Bumbling Fool Trump. Peking Peeping Tom Don. Commie con-artist Donnie Boy. Fascist pimp D John T. Take your pick. A dignified departure requires a concession. You know, like Hitlery did the day after the election. Trump doesn't even rise to the level of that disgusting biatch. Sad.
No reasonable person, after 4 years, would support Trump. There were no reasonable people in that crowd.
Still hasn't conceded, or congratulated Biden on the win, or attended Biden's inauguration, or admitted that "stop the steal" was a lie. So, no, he did not depart in dignity. He just had to do some damage control at the end, so not to be seen as a total sociopath.
That statement is one of emotion and prejudice. Viewing those with opposing views as unreasonable only reveals lack of reason on your part.
That view towards those with opposing views makes people useful. There was a girl that grew up in an abusive home. She was put in a foster home that ended up being just as bad. She grew up wanting to help others who had gone through the same. She was a Democrat all through college and now works long hours helping others. She recently voted for Trump. Her reason: Democrats take a lot of money from her check, but do not deliver on their promises. Please explain what makes her unreasonable and how someone with an extensive background in psychology is "batshit crazy"
There were global protests in 2016 and 2017, it's true, but not a single riot. Unless you can link to just one. Can you? Just one little riot against his election.
Cool story. I'm just guessing here, but I'm pretty certain that most people see supporting criminal behavior by the POTUS to be unacceptable by the average American. Support criminal behavior by POTUS? Or not? Those are the opposing views I'm talking about. How people vote is beyond the scope of my post, but partisanship and denial surely play a part.
Too many people cannot separate policies from the person I liked Obama as a person; hated the majority of his policies; voted for Romney 2012 From a pure policy standpoint, pre-Covid, I would prefer Trump over Biden. This election made me vote solely based on the person
LMAO...he tried to overthrow the elected government and incited an insurrection that killed 5 people. His Qanon mob was itching to kill a lot more to feed his sick fantasies. Tell us again why you're still making excuses for that disgusting maggot.
In this case, the criminal behavior is stronger on the Democrats side. Since we adopted her, I am proud to call her my daughter. While I may not agree with her politics, I always make it a point to understand the reasoning behind her beliefs. I loved her when she was a Democrat, I love her no less now that she is a Republican. If we can't respect the beliefs of others, we are just emulating Trump.
