Umm....No Bush did not do a good job during 9/11. He ignored FBI and CIA warnings of possible attacks and requests for added security on planes. It simply did not come out until years afterwards. He was told to his face that there were reports of plans to use possible attacks with which would target the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, Camp, David, the Sears Tower, and other possible targets. He was also told that the plans would also possibly involve hyjackings, or that planes would be hijacked in a separate plan. The CIA and FBI both suggested that there be added security on all planes, and at all possible targets to defend against any bombing attempt, until the end of 2001. Bush's advisors didn't believe the intel was legit and suggested he deny the security requests because it would cost too much, and it would harm his image since he ran on promising to get spending under control. After 9/11 Bush had the policy of taking any warning of attack as a sure thing.
