I mean all doubt was removed when the FBI raiding a former presidents house was deemed to be a political opinion but trump speaks and it is a current event. That this rule is abused 2-5 times a day by the same individuals with no action… is deafening.

To the OP — all trump has ever done is pander for more money. If he announces his run then election law and reporting requirements get implemented. If he does run then it will be after he feels he has grifted all he can from his base.

Seeing that the White House wasn't even alerted to this and the FBI director is a trump crony I wonder if this wasn’t set up as a campaign strategy.
