Trump refuses to pay tribute to Senator McCain

So many many factors go into whether a pilot gets shot down or not that I can't really "blame" McCain, as such, for getting shot down. Condemning one of our brave pilots for putting his life on the line in trying his best to protect our freedoms against communist scum seems mean at best, and despicable at worst.

 

You shouldn't be afraid to criticize those in the military that perform poorly and have bad records.

If you don't then mistakes and standards will continue to fall.

McCain never should have been flying in the first place.

 

Sorry ... POW's aren't given states funerals, and flags aren't flown at half mast when they die. If your criticizing Trump for not paying tribute to a POW ... fact is McCain's received more tribute than any other POW has already. So we're left to "Senator" McCain, and what you think he's due. McCain hasn't been denied what's PRESCRIBED for a Senate burial ceremony.

 

While he was not perfect, he was loved by the people of Arizona, and he was the #1 Republican candidate in a recent presidential election. At a time like this maybe we don't want to put mere politics above the accomplishments of a recently-deceased US Senator.

Well, you're not wrong, but I'm just happy that there ARE people today who are willing to risk their own lives (I'm not doing that) to try their best to save us from Muslims trying to implement Qur'an 8:39. It's not easy when Muslims, or communists in McCain's case, want to take over the world and therefore want to kill freedom-loving people.

 

When he ran for office against Obama, the way the Democrats talked bad about the man was more than surprising. I had read actual Democrats say that they wanted McCain and not Bush. But Obama took out McCain by well past 9 million votes. Beat him badly in the electoral. Were where those Democrats then?

I expected them to trash this man till kingdom come. But now they act like they like him. But what is going on?

I thank every brave soul that risks their life so I can sit here and chat on the internet, that's why I care so much.

Like McCain I am a Vietnam Veteran. McCain is a symbol of our sacrifice. I'll post against anyone who comes on here and puts him down, 'till the cows come home. So settle in pal, it's going to be a long night.

I'd think Trump represents the "heart of American Conservatism" as much as you want to present this as a conservative thing.

 

We are very patriotic and McCain plays on that with his military record.

"Oh vote for me since I was a POW, I will screw you over of course but if you love America you need to vote for me because I was a POW. Did I mention I was a POW"?

That's basically his entire campaign.

He did dump NAFTA in favor of something better for us, however. And it's more enjoyable seeing pictures of the first lady now.....

 

In the current (endless, longest in US history, with no end in sight) war against Islam, US/NATO soldiers will eventually be the REAL heroes of the 21st century - especially when Islam gets nukes.
