No, the courts don't require you 'prove' your innocence. But you'll sleep a lot better at night if you know you will be able to prove your innocence when the appropriate time comes. Are you imagining that 100% of the people in prison are all guilty? You can believe there are some people in prison today who wish they had been able to prove their innocence. The only thing you will see me get emotional about on this or any forum is trump. He's the lowest form of life that ever wallowed in the sewers. I'm just amazed at the number of people who drank his Kool-Aid.

The Presidents time is too valuable to waste on questions from fake news outlets.

 

Go ahead and cite ANY CNN story that has turned out to be false (that was not later retracted if a genuine error was made).

Not generalities - let's get down to the nitty gritty and identify ANYTHING that CNN has quoted as fact, that turned out to be false.

- identify the fact you say was false
- link to another reputable source that proves the falsity

I bet you won't even try. And here's why: because CNN does not post fake stories. They don't make things up. They, like all other major news organisations, spend a lot of effort to check the veracity of their stories.

They may have an editorial approach that means they focus on certain stories over others, but they do not mis-state the facts.

Trump is undermining one of America's great institutions - a free press - by questioning their legitimacy. Trump is an enemy of democracy. He is anti-American and you don't even see it.

 

CNN is not a fake news outlet. I challenge you to identify any major fact that they have made up / fabricated. Link to the story if you take this challenge.

If CNN is fake news because it puts a negative spin on Trump stories, than logic would dictate that FOX is also fake news for putting a positive spin on Trump stories.

Trump’s logic ought to dictate that only neutral sources would be real news, but the don’t exist anymore.

The irony is that as Trump does more to avoid criticism in the media, he actually invites more criticism from the media.

I mean, he is the president, and every single president of the country has been, and should be, subjected to harsh criticism.

Obama’s started the ball rolling on this with his own public criticism of FOX while ignoring obvious bias from CNN, but he at least didn’t take it this far.

Why these guys think they should beyond criticism is, well, beyond me.

There's not a damn thing in the Constitution that says you have to recognize Fake News as the truth. They are free to spew their lies at will, but that doesn't require being recognized as real press. CNN is on ignore nationally. Look at their ratings. The public knows.

I find it interesting and disturbing that so many have fallen into the "Fake News" camp. Most of these people tend to accept and promote actual dishonest stories as real while dismissing verified news as fake. This Phenom is best noted with an adherence to FOX news and a complete dismissal of everything else and avoidance as MSM lies. I actually have family in this state and have decided it is best to just let them be and shake my head as they are all over 70 and unlikely to recognize what has happened.

 

Jim Acosta is an embarrassment to his profession and I use the word "profession" loosely when it comes to journalist these days.
