How many times must some of you be told that politics is the art of compromise?...something we have seen precious little of , which has caused our country to sit dead in the water. Enough. Some of you are simply fearful of Trump's ability to activate his base.
It's that kind of extremist thinking that has ruined our government. Extremists don't compromise and therefore the work of the country does not get done.

It's not what you think. Trump knows he has to deliver strict immigration policies and reject globalism. He's manipulating Ryan with the appearance of compromise. Since he holds all the cards, he could appear a bully to the establishment, instead, this way he appears to show willingness to work with opponents. Regardless, I imagine you have no intention of not voting for Trump, right? .

If I'm Trump I would tell him endorse me or: 1. the RNC is so divided that it's DOA (because millennials and many "conservatives" identify not with RINO's but with libertarians). 2. I will never donate to the RNC (and obviously the DNC) ever again. 3. I will put all my money next campaign behind the libertarian movement. 4. If you don't you will lose half of your support. What is Ryan going to do? You either endorse Trump and realize this establishment playground is over with or you don't and commit career suicide...... As a former Speaker Ryan is a made man. When the voters in his district finally wise up and fire him he can really cash in at Purple Strategies, Patton Boggs, the Glover Park Group, Barber, Griffith & Rogers, The Podesta Group, Arent Fox or one of the other K Street bandit clubs. He will get very rich very fast. Even his staff will be able to cash in. DC is a corrupt cesspool.

Trump is going to have to deal with congress like it or not. He is showing his ability for deal making here. If he chose to go the obama route and ignore congress then nothing will get done, he knows this.
