NO, its not, I've even pointed that out in this thread. This is why some of you really need to educate yourself, learn some facts. Because you make comments that are so incorrect. What about people that are born with a vagina and a penis? Or they have a penis or a vagina but internally they have ovaries or testicles. Not so black and white, is it? These are things that actually happen.

And you can't deny the psychology of these people. Why would they make it up? Why would they want to be ridiculed, mocked, violently attacked, ostricized? Why do so many struggle with this, end up killing themselves over it? YOu really think they chose that? Get real. Just like with homosexuality and claiming it is a choice, if attraction was a choice, there would be a hell of a lot more homosexuals.

They have been doing it for the longest time. And there was no issue. Until right wingers decided they wanted to make a law discriminating against them, for no reason other than to trump up some more fear and ignorance in their base to distract them. Like I said in another thread on this topic, they just want to go to the bathroom and get out, becasue they know they will be mocked, ridiculed, stared at, or worse.

Scientific reality is if you have a penis, you go to the men's room. If you don't then you go to the women's.

This was never an issue until a couple of years back with people looking for special treatment.

That wasn't what was tried. In fact, federal judges ruled out extra unisex bathrooms as not being enough of an accomodation. The only accomodation allowed was the TG boy being in the same locker room and shower with girls at the same time.

You don't have a right to pick your gender any more than you have a right to pick your skin color.

 

The Obama Justice Department order said that proper accomodation was no separate restrooms unless all were in separate restrooms.

The underlying hatred for those with a different sexual orientation comes from Moses/Jesus/Mohammad.....the texts of their belief systems says to kill gays, and their followers can't muster the intellectual courage to change those barbaric texts. That makes them immoral, of course.

The order required them to be able to use the restroom of their identity, not construct extra restrooms. It was budget neutral. It can be interpreted as constitutional via the equal protection clause. You just want conservative schools to impose their values on children.

Keep in mind that these are the same people that are so immoral that they give their impressionable young children a book, and say it's the best book of all time no less, that says to KILL them if they happen to turn out like their god made them - homosexual, in this example. There are versions of the Bible with the kill gays and gays don't get to heaven parts removed, but Christians by and large are just too uncaring about their own children to adopt those more loving versions of the Bible. They are clearly extremists - putting their religion above the welfare of their children and of humanity.

Trump GETS IT that any belief system (Islam, in this case), that, for example, instructs a man to beat his wife (Q4:34), is immoral - and we won't sit idly by while it's followers try to spread it by the sword.
