    Just curious -

How well do you think it works for a perp to tell investigators to go investigate someone else?

This is about vAlue submitted to the bank, a value which declined by over 250 million when he filed his financial disclosures. Did you even read the article??

Earth to Mellow Person, the bank evaluates the value of any property they give a loan on, just like the insurance people, just like the property tax assessors.

Trump could make the claim it's worth eleventy billion dollars, it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference.

Cohen did get a brand new criminal referral after lying whilst apologizing for lying. Fot the 100th time, Trump can't be exonerated until someone actually charges him with something. Allegations lost whatever little value they had ... thanks to (D)'s theatrics.

I have an idea, try it yourself.

Put in an offer on a $300k house, tell the bank it's only worth $50k, tell the county tax assessor it's worth $50k, tell the insurance company it's worth eleventy billion dollars (which would be incredibly stupid to do, but whatever).

How does one defraud a bank on a bank loan for a property?

Do you think they just take suggestions for making property value decisions?

He was trying to buy the bills and lied about his assets. Why are you commenting when you don’t even know what the **** we are talking about?

    Investigators have the financial records.

Your ideas above don't match what actually happened.

First of all, there are at least two clear cases - one of bank fraud (loan applications) and the other insurance fraud. Second, Trump didn't just inflate the value of a piece of property. He first inflated it when it was to his advantage and then deflated it when it was to his advantage, both by gigantic percentages.

You're trying to claim that the feds, who are part of his executive branch, are playing games with Trump. Sorry. No sale.

It’s not a loan for a property, it’s a loan for a football team, for gods sake do a little bit of research

Not exactly. Manafort conspired with a banks loan officer.

"Buy the bills". Is that English?

He didn't lie about his assets. I already linked the answer to that in giving his "brand" a 4 billion value.

It's in the article YOU gave me. Try reading it.

    Oh I see.

Your article didn't mention anything about a football team.

But sure, let's move the goalpost.

Do football team loans take suggestions or do you think the bank might investigate the actual value, FFS.

Trump confirms his enemy hit list. Not a bad idea actually! I love it when the oligarchs destroy each other.

Obama, Biden, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, DNC, Brennan, Clapper, Comey,McCabe, Lynch, Page, Strzok, Yates.

Both sides have shown that it is not wise to give them more power to abuse. He most likely inflated the value for borrowing purposes, and deflated it for tax purposes. That would be my best guess.

Well good for you for taking a swing at this one too.

First of all, I'm going to need sources for information on what you claim are two cases of bank and insurance fraud.

I note you probably don't own a house either.

If you did, you would know that the bank, the tax assessors, and the insurance company doesn't take suggestions on the value of a property.

EACH OF THEM SET THE VALUE ON THE PROPERTY THEMSELVES.

If you don't believe me, I have an exercise for you.

    1. Go to Realtor.com
    2. Find a piece of junk house for like $75k
    3. Tell the bank you want a $300k loan for it
    4. Tell the county tax assessors it's worth $1k
    5. Tell the insurance people it's worth eleventy billion dollars.

Bonus Points: Try to pay in $100 bills.

    Post results.

    The bills? NFL team?
He fabricated his brand value as well as the value of the property...in 2012 he told the bank 300 million, in 2016 he told America 25-50 million.
    Again, read the article! Lol

No, Manafort is in prison because Mueller remembered he declined to prosecute him in 2014 for not paying his taxes.

    From the link

He added that the financial documents for three years ending in 2013 were given to Deutsche Bank “to inquire about a loan to buy the Buffalo Bills.

Trump trolls fake news media all the time. They say he hasn't been, so he insists he has. Point is Trump can't be removed, even via impeachment, without a formal charge. Besides not having a charge to pursue, (D)'s lack the courage. Smear is all they know.
