It would be interesting to watch if he runs for the nomination in 2024. All the hopefuls (McCarthy, Cruz, Rubio and others) will have a difficult time attacking him as happens in the debates. Trump will be only too happy to run his mouth about all of them, but it would be top notch entertainment watching McCarthy try to distance himself.

Lets all hope and pray for the good of our country, that New York brings criminal charges and puts him on trial before he gets the chance to further destroy our country.

Yeah that's a bronze statue of Trump created by a guy in Mexico because he liked Trump. Some people took selfies at CPAC and then the guy put it for sale at $100,000. I think he sold it.

Trump had little to do with the statue and nobody worshipped it but that did not stop the left from spreading many stories about it.

You want me to pray Trump goes to prison but are just fine with having corrupt Biden and Kamala or even Hillary in office?

You must vote based on feelings and not policy.

Imagine how the left would react if Trump ran again and won? What a meltdown that would be. He would reverse everything Biden reversed of his and then some.

I still am against him running again. Republicans will increase thier chances with a fresh new face. Maybe a Candace, Tulsi ticket.

Nobody but him believes he's going to be reinstated in August... A run for a Congressional seat is within his power however...

The first is a complete laugh riot... the second would be fun to watch, with zero consequences....

EDIT - OK... him and Lindell.... 2 mental cases....

Oh I agree completely. She said stupid stuff and upset the Democrats and they decided she had to go since they had the majority.

I have not seen Republicans cross that line but the Democrats just opened the door and Republicans have been wanting retaliation ever since Trump was impeached.

Be interesting to see if the Republicans can stay calm and mature after taking back the house or if they will try to revenge impeach. I'm against impeaching unless it's for something big.

Not a Dem but I noticed Clinton's carpetbagging in NY. She should have ran in Illinois.

The thing with Clinton is that NY and IL aren't very different politically. Where would Trump run? He's a New Yorker. He lived in DC for four years. Someone from a liberal city running in a conservative district would be the ultimate carpetbagger.

Establishing residence is one thing. Representing people who have lived their their entire lives somewhere is something else. I despise carpetbaggers. Legitimate, and long standing changes of address are fine; moving with the express purpose of running for office is carpetbagging.

I see it like I view some of our managers at work. Corporate sends us people with a degree, who have never set foot in a printing facility. They invariably fail. Likewise, I don't want some California bozo moving to Reno telling me what I want out of government. I want someone who's lived here long enough to already know what I want from government.

Carpetbagging is phony. That's why I despise it. Legal, I guess, so yes, go for it.

Well, Hillary was 1st lady for the 7 years before she established residence in NY. She lived in DC, which as we all know, is not a state...

Also, to be remembered, she ran to replace a retiring D in NY (Moynihan) so there was an open seat. She didn't move somewhere where she would primary anybody out (or tick anybody off).

It sort of made sense.....Not your normal carpetbagger...

Agreed, but I would have respected her running in her home state.

You don't think he'll throw his hat in the ring for presidential nominee? I'd put money on it.

That is one crappy ring.... You mentioned T****, Cruz, Rubio, and McCarthy...... which by default makes Marco Rubio officially the least offensive of that four....

I imagine Nikki Haley will emerge at some point... she's probably next on the list of least offensive, but that's faint praise with that group.

Actually, no, I don't think McCarthy will declare... He's already beyond his limited abilities (but then I remember 2016)

There is nothing in the Constitution that the Speaker needs to be elected to Congress. All Trump needs is the votes of a majority of Congress. Jan. 2023 might be an excellent time for Trump to take command of the impeachment power. Who knows better than Trump who the folks are in the Executive Branch who are betraying their oath to serve this nation? How about the ashoes who circumvented the Federal government's ban on dangerous "gain of function" research by funding China's bioweapons development lab?

Trump as Speaker is a Capitol Idea!

Sure, by 2017, then 2018, then 2019, then 2020, and now by 2022! I realize that you might be unfamiliar with the American system, but, he doesn't have to unseat anyone to become Speaker.

100 sure they will try. I think the demonstrations and death threats on the judge by men dressed as half naked buffalos will guarantee it

All but the last one were precluded by the Justice Dept procedure from the beginning. The last one is actually possible and the first four did nothing but make the last one more certain

I fully agree with you on McCarthy, but that won't stop him from trying. He's showing his appetite for power now.
