Trump Supports Black GOP Candidates, Media Clams Up

    …Gibbs is just one of the many Black Republicans Trump supports this election cycle.

    The impressive list includes:

    • Herschel Walker running for the U.S. Senate from Georgia and for whom Trump hosted a fundraiser at the Mar-a-Lago club in December.
    • Representative Byron Donaldsseeking reelection in Southwest Florida's 19th Congressional District.
    • Representative Burgess Owens, who voted against the certification of Pennsylvania's electoral votes and believes that Donald Trump won the 2020 election, running for reelection to Utah's 4th Congressional District.
    • Wesley Hunt, a West Point graduate, who last month defeated several Republican Primary opponents in the new Houston, Texas 38th Congressional District.
    • John James, who ran twice for the U.S. Senate and is seeking to represent Michigan's newly drawn 10the Congressional District.
    • Vernon Jones, a former Democrat, running in a hotly contested Republican primary in Georgia's 10th Congressional District.
    • Kristina Karamo, who believes that Trump won Michigan and challengedthe election, running for Michigan secretary of state.
    What makes Trump's endorsements especially significant is that he has endorsed candidates in GOP primaries which the Republican leadership establishment rarely does.

    That's what makes Trump so unique to so many Black voters — he makes direct appeals for their votes….

    I     love it that Trump is and is encouraging the GOP to endorse African Americans running for office. I’m glad that Trump openly appeals to African Americans and Hispanic Americans for their support. The GOP transition to a multi racial party is well underway thanks to Trump. I expect to see an increase in the African American office holders from the GOP this year.

    It’s no surprise that the msm which censors Trump and calls him names ignores the fact that he’s endorsed so many African American (and Hispanic American) candidates for office.

    The very fact he is supporting someone of colour should not be news

    Support should be given regardless not because of. If he had a long history of support for people if colour this would not be remarked upon.

    I am going to be truly cynical here and suggest this is an advertising trick usually used to claim environmental consideration of a product and it is called then “green washing”

    That is accurate; however, it would be accurate regardless of the person's race, gender or anything else. People only exist in the Orange Stain's world to cheat, manipulate, use and discard.

    Well damn tell us how you feel about our new SCOTUS judge who was picked because of her skin color being black.

    I mean that must really get your goat if a news story about trump supporting people cause they’re black does.

    who is this "trump" guy? most pf conservatives deny that such a person, if he ever existed, could possibly be important.

    can trump's endorsement win primaries for characters like gershall walker or dr oz? do you think oz would be a good senator? does a heisman trophy and a uga diploma (which uga denies) make walker a better candidate?

    The media only picks the stories that favor their liberal agenda. That is the reason they have such a negative rating and newspapers are losing revenue. But the media can't help it because it's who they are.
