Failed former president Trump seems to be lamely weaponizing the government in his whiny persecution of DeSantis.

Going so far as the vow to tattletale on DeSantis to Florida's commission on ethics. Side note, they seem to be a feckless lot when it comes to ethics.

Trump is claiming that DeSantis is running a presidential campaign, while governor, campaigning in presidential sort of ways.

    https://www.wfla.com/news/politics/...lection-laws-in-shadow-presidential-campaign/

In documents obtained by NBC News, former President Donald J. Trump, now running in a third campaign for president, has filed an ethics complaint against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis regarding his “shadow presidential campaign” for the 2024 election.

While he has not filed to run for president in 2024, DeSantis is widely expected to be a candidate in the Republican primary. In recent weeks, he’s traveled across the United States promoting a new memoir and pitching it to various organizations and events as a “blueprint” for the country, based on Florida’s current system and policies.

The document from Trump comes just five days later, submitted to the Florida Commission on Ethics in Tallahassee, is titled “Conduct violations by Governor DeSantis,” and lists what Trump’s representatives say are violations of four different Florida statutes.

According to the Trump document, DeSantis has engaged in ethics violations that are “unlawful because they serve his personal political objectives,” furthering what the document calls DeSantis’ personal financial gain at the expense of Florida taxpayers.

“It is no secret that Governor DeSantis aspires to national prominence,” the document says in its introduction, also describing the Florida governor as “already a de facto candidate for President of the United States under federal election laws.”

The question is: How long can DeSanctimonious afford to stay silent? At one point, he'll have to take Trump's bait and respond. Interesting times ahead for the GOP. I have the popcorn ready.

Trump was an enormously successful president...[/QUOTE]

If you line up a ruler on the high points of the downward slide in workers share of income, starting in 1970, only during the Trump Era did workers break out of the declining channel, and now that Biden was installed with the help of the FBI and IC burying the Biden's international bribery scandal, the pro-worker trend, promptly reversed under the Illegitimate Joe.

    Left Want a Trump/DeSantis War.

I'm not convinced that DeSantis is running:
    1. His wife just recovered from cancer, controlling her stress level is important for remaining cancer free
    2. He has young children, and the horrid scum of the lying leftwing media, Intelligence Community, Dirtbag FBI and DOJ will loose every cannon on DeSantis, even worse than they did Trump. Every phone will be tapped, every email and text pilfered, as an army of illicit investigators miss use anti-terrorism powers in an attempt to rig another election for the increasingly disfavored DNC.
    3. DeSantis, currently, cannot continue as Governor, and run for President.
    4. The primary race could end up 1/3rd Trump and 2/3rd Anyone but Trump, but, if 3 guys are splitting the anyone but Trump vote, Trump could roll through the primaries winning with a third of the vote like Romney and McCain did.
    5. DeSantis is an extraordinarily successful gov and well protected by folks he has in place around him. Moving into the Presidency would be mean moving into the snake pit and needing McConnell, one of the pit's biggest snakes in order to get his Administration staffed with folks willing to break the swamp, when the swamp has made McConnell one of the richest snakes in the Senate.
By 2028 both the Trump and the McConnell issue could be resolved.

'The media lusts for a battle between its two biggest enemies. Trump and DeSantis are despised because they are effective in stripping the establishment of its weapons against the people. Trump actually made America greater in his first three years. And DeSantis has beat the devil in his satanic plan to groom kindergartens into LGBT land.'

“So again his critics — especially in the Republican Rino party — can pound salt. I’d like to see their denunciations when rhetoric was used against Trump was the type they complain about that he uses. I would like for those critics to pinpoint the language they used to denounce all the tactics used by government against people who were imprisoned due to trespassing on January 6. Does not exist. Point being they are not the moral superiors they think they are.”

DESANTIS EXPOSES FILTH SO VILE IN CHILDREN'S SCHOOL BOOKS THAT THE MEDIA CAN'T BROADCAST IT BECAUSE THEY AREN'T A PORN PROVIDER.

“Florida TV Cuts Feed as Ron DeSantis Shows Explicit Content in School Books.”

DeSantis doesn't attack Trump because to win he'll need Trump's voters in the General Election.

'The governor discombobulated Never Trumpers by pushing Trumpism without Trump. As President Trump says, they’re not after me, they are after you; I’m just in the way. Now DeSantis is in their way, too.'

'National Review was shocked that he does not bow to Zelensky. NR lies like the devil, aka New York Times.'

DeSantis: “While the U.S. has many vital national interests — securing our borders, addressing the crisis of readiness within our military, achieving energy security and independence, and checking the economic, cultural, and military power of the Chinese Communist Party — becoming further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia is not one of them. The Biden administration’s virtual blank check funding of this conflict for ‘as long as it takes,’ without any defined objectives or accountability, distracts from our country’s most pressing challenges.”

“The U.S. should not provide assistance that could require the deployment of American troops or enable Ukraine to engage in offensive operations beyond its borders. F-16s and long-range missiles should therefore be off the table. These moves would risk explicitly drawing the United States into the conflict and drawing us closer to a hot war between the world’s two largest nuclear powers. That risk is unacceptable.”

“A policy of regime change in Russia would greatly increase the stakes of the conflict, making the use of nuclear weapons more likely. Such a policy would neither stop the death and destruction of the war, nor produce a pro-American, Madisonian constitutionalist in the Kremlin. History indicates that Putin’s successor, in this hypothetical, would likely be even more ruthless. The costs to achieve such a dubious outcome could become astronomical.”

    'That’s straightforward — and effective.'

ron isn’t even polling higher than trump with his own team of fanatics and you believe he can beat… anyone?

Most people are turned off by fascism and attacking private business and individuals with government policy because they don’t agree with your leader is the beginning steps of fascism. Him installing his own members to run schools is even more so

You might love this but moderate sane republicans, independents and Democrats will vote against this in droves.

You like to imagine you have your finger on the pulse but all you have is your own partisan opinion.

A far left progressive like you has no idea what goes on in the conservative world

Most polls had hillary and donald fairly close and many showed them within the MoE (margin of error for the illiterate). I was pretty close to voting for trump actually but ended up not voting for either.

Just a FYI: Polls measure popular opinion not the antiquated electoral college — so polls were technically accurate.

So zero sources for your OPINION? While calling others based on poll’s opinion. I have to admit, that is a fascinating strategy.

Strange, you asked me — not what was happening with the nation. Can you not keep up with your own posts?

I am uninterested in your opinion however, if you have a source or something to add to the discussion feel free to do so. Otherwise, as usual, I have to depart the fan club. Cheers.
