EXCLUSIVE: Former President Trump vowed to be "very involved" in the 2022 Midterm Elections, and will "stay busy for good people," in the hopes of helping to secure the majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate for Republicans.

During an exclusive interview with Fox News, Trump reflected on his endorsements in the off-cycle election last week—from high-profile candidates like Virginia’s now-Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin, to candidate for Staten Island Borough president—citing the diversity of the races, and the value of his support.

TRUMP SAYS DEMOCRATS 'PLAYED IT WRONG' IN VIRGINIA, PUT HIM 'ON THE BALLOT'

"We did Hialeah, the mayor, a terrific guy," Trump said, referring to now-Mayor-elect Esteban ‘Steve’ Bevo of Hialeah, Fla.

"A congressional seat in Ohio, where he had a tough primary and won by a lot after my endorsement," Trump said, referring to Mike Cary of Ohio’s 15th congressional district.

"We had Youngkin, and we had another one that was a very good victory," Trump said, referring to Youngkin’s gubernatorial win—delivering victory to a Republican candidate in Virginia for the first time in 12 years.

    T
rump is right! I’m glad that he will be heavily involved in federal, state, and local elections during the mid terms. It’s true what Trump said about woke things turning to. November next year can’t get here fast enough.

Trump is going to carry the GOP to victory and be the King maker in 2022. He’s going to be our next President if he wants to be.

Awesome news. Trump knows how to find strong candidates and then endorses them and they are usually successful.

Quite a contrast with that democrat dunce in VA. Not even Obama, Brandon, or veep throat could save him.

    Agreed.

Maybe he will stir things up in Nevada ahead of the mid terms...

Democrats sweat midterm fallout from Nevada party crack-up
A bitter feud has divided Dems in a key swing state — and dragged in the national party.

"He will stay busy for good people". Is that like when he said he wouldn't be spending time on the golf courses like Obama?? Of course you believe him. trump playing golf reminded me of someone playing their fiddle while Rome burned. HAHAHAHA

The GOP will win the House at least and possibly the Senate regardless of Trump in the midterms since the democratic response to their thumping in Virginia is "Hard to starboard" as it always is.

Is that what that “ah! **** NO” sound was floating across the pacific? The response from the Republican Party it seems

Trump is proven poison to all but his shrinking base

I don't know if Trump's support will work for all Republicans running for office. Youngkin tried to create a little distance from Trump in the weeks before that election, but he didn't really need any help after McAuliffe made that stupid remark about keeping parents out of curriculum issues at schools. What a moron!

The rest of the Dems need to stop agonizing over the losses last week and talk more about the few things they have accomplished. Then they need to get busy and get the rest of those campaign promises done. I'm not confident that they can get out of their own way, though ... it's like watching someone try to herd cats by sweetly calling out "here, kitty kitty!" when you know that cat herding can only be accomplished with a fire hose.

the problem is that "poison" is toxic........but very powerful......and can create quite a circus in the meantime.

Should be "interesting"...to watch Trump orchestrate things.........and he certainly has his supporters.

2nd poll in the RCP average to put him in the 30's.

I wonder how this will affect the remaining midterms?

Dems only lead 1 of the last 5 Generic Congress polls in the RCP average since the end of Oct.

    Betting Odds Congressional Majorities:

    House GOP 79% Dems 21%

    Senate GOP 67% Dems 33%

Not really sure if this is a good idea or not. Trump is a double edged sword and for every fan he has he has an equal amount of critics if not more so. Based on Biden's performance and the waning popularity of progressive political ideology I think Republicans could do well on their own.

I seriously haven't met a single person in real life who actually supports Biden right now and I'm not joking. I've yet to actually meet anybody who voted FOR Biden either. I know a lot of Democrat voters, my entire extended family are all Democrats and even today when talking current events with them they don't support Biden either. The only defense they give is simply "he was better than the alternative" and they still hold to that even while things go south in the country. That's the reality of emotion based ideologies though, it doesn't matter what Biden does they will NEVER say that they would rather have Trump instead. Which is understandable, the guy is off putting and his personality is just not attractive to a lot of people. I get it, people should vote on policy and not personality but the reality is that people don't.

Democrats are shooting themselves in the foot with their adoption of progressive ideology. The Virginia election has shown that Republicans can do well without the need of Trump in their corner due to the fact that Progressive Democrats are turning off everybody from moderates to Liberals to Conservatives. Would Youngkin have won without Trump's endorsement? I don't know, but he did win without painting himself as a "Trump guy" but rather a normal Republican candidate.

There are A LOT of Americans who hate Progressive ideology but hate Trump even more which leaves them with no choice but to reject anything associated with Trump even if they hate the alternative. Based on the ideology of Progressive Democrats it's really not hard to counter them. Run somebody NORMAL and you'll win in most places outside of the unwinnable strongholds like California. Progressive ideology is extreme, trying to counter that with extreme Conservatism may not be the best option and yes in spite of what his supporters will say Trump IS extreme to A LOT of people...I'm not saying run a bunch of RINO's or anything, run candidates with Trumps policies without Trump's rhetoric and personality attached to them and that'd be good enough.

If the republicans plan to nominate a guy who never got more votes than his opponent, again, I don’t think dems will complain.

I agree Trump will not be helpful in numerous elections, as you pointed out in VA. As far as the midterms, history favors the Republicans. We still have a year to go and that is a life time in USA politics.

Trump was not involved in this one and the person on the right won

now he feels left out and like people will realize the truth, no one likes Trump

normally midterms favor the out of power party, but Trump could change all that

You can be damn sure he would never go into hiding for 4 days after ordering an evacuation in a 3rd world country to the point UK Parliament holds him in contempt for refusing their phone calls.
That would be a nice change huh.

Don't worry. You can be damn sure he wouldn't have the balls to order an evacuation of a 3rd world country. After all, he had four years to do it.

I guess you didn't get caught up on current events.
Trump evacuated 13,000 troops without any Taliban incident or involvement
Trump evacuated 3 US air bases without any Taliban incident or involvement
Trump created an agreement that provided no troops are killed or attacked which worked for 18 months
Trump created an agreement to evacuate the US embassy, troops and final air base without Taliban involvement.
Biden decided no to honor the agreement and got 13 US soldiers killed, a family of 9 including 7 kids killed, and thousands of Americans left behind enemy lines.
All while hiding out at Camp David on vacation refusing to take any world leader calls.
    You're welcome

You and your ilk might, but I think you’ll find that the American people in general will prefer someone who actually gets things done, rather than continually whining….
