That is the "Triumph of Politics" which is the name of David Stockman's 1986 book on the Reagan Administration tax reforms. We are still waiting for the $3 spending cuts per $1 tax increases from the Democrats.

I fully understand getting Vindman out of the White House even if what he did was honorable and what Trump did was dishonorable. What's sickening is Vindman getting perp walked out the door. My two uncles, one a USAF Colonel and the other a USA Major General, and my father-in-law a USAF Colonel were people of the highest integrity, as is true of our military generally. I'd bet plenty that perp walking Vindman was the last straw for General Kelly, another honorable guy.

Not according to Mueller, a Republican appointed by Republicans.

The statement is absolutely true. Trump promised he wouldn't cut taxes for rich people, then turned around and gave 85% of the personal tax cuts to people making more than $400,000 per year.

As an economist, I agreed with Trump saying he wouldn't cut taxes for rich people. They don't need or deserve a tax cut when they greatly profit from corporate tax cuts that were justified.

Tax cuts for people making less than $400,000 a year could have averaged six times higher if the brackets at the top had remained the same.
