Trump Tweets Threat to Commit War Crimes After Claiming U.S. Killed Soleimani to ‘Stop a War’

This dumb <Mod Edit> decides to try and dissuade further escalation from Iran by threatening to commit a war crime.

And that is par for the course considering his justification for the killing is reportedly "razor thin" and it appears that Mar-a-Lago guests had more knowledge about the attack than Congress.

 

Good grief Charlie Brown. We had Russian cities targeted with nukes for decades and in those cities were cultural objects and places of worship. Iran has said they want to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth, and guess what? In Israel there are cultural objects and places of worship.

The left is either desperately trying to turn Trump's positive into a negative, or they are siding with the country who for constantly chants death to America and Israel.

War crimes like attacking our embassy? Yes, I'm serious about this: The human race's greatest folly was the idea of INTL war crimes. You think we'd have the massive low-scale civil wars we do now, if the 'war crimes' idea wasn't in place. These low-scale civil wars are to avoid the stigma of such.

Whereas, a century ago, the nations fought a war to dispute to it's logical conclusion, and the winner won and the loser, well had to deal with the outcome of the war. There was far less damage without the international community.

 

What Trump should Tweet is if we’re hit with a terrorist attack by Iran, then we will find out who planned it and who carried it out, and when we do, the first chance we get then BOOM. It won’t matter if you’re in a mosque or with your family, everyone around you will also go BOOM. Let them think about that for a while.

 

Well, if it is 'legitimate' for Trump personally to 'eliminate' a bloke he reckons is an Iranian ********, why would it not be 'legitimate' for some Iranian to reckon that the American ******** Trump should be eliminated? Do you really believe you can do this stuff internationally and not have some kick back?

 

America has been told we can do whatever we please for as long as any of us have been alive without much penalty. The day that ends — when other nations start doing to us what we have done to them — many people will suddenly start screaming foul.

I am against Trump and his razor thin justification for threatening to commit a war crime BECAUSE it makes me a better American. Do not ever suggest that I do not love my country.

Targetting a city because it has strategic military significance is not a war crime, even though it might have cultural significance.

Targetting a specific site solely because it has cultural significance, which is what Trump is threatening with his "52 targets ****ing TWEET" is a war crime.

 

The point is...we survived the cold war without major damage (just a decades plus of a rational fear taught to our children for how to survive a *******n nuke attack), so ignore trump's escalation now?

 

Only targeting 52 Iranian sites? I’d say Trump isn’t committing enough “war crimes”. We should have 3000 sites already targeted in that sh*t hole of a country.

 

You will never convince me that people should never be able to use war as a justification for committing atrocities, like destroying a cultural site simply for the purpose of inflicting some type of emotional harm for that society.

Says the guy who supports tearing down historical and cultural statues in America. How come you guys never defend American culture like you do for the people who chant death to America or blow up historical artifacts because they offend muslims? On those issues you guys are dead silent.

 

War is an act in which involves people killing other people. What's more depraved than that? Are we really going to say "It's okay to murder them but please, oh please don't destroy a building". All of the cold wars, all of the proxy states have originated as a way to byskirt the 'rules'. We literally are more endangered today because of the rules, then protected from them.

I'd rather get the whole dirty act over with, then to pretend that an act of murder can be justified if it follows a neat little bowtie.
