XKeyscore and Prism et al existed in some form or other shortly before Obama came to office, but did not take on their truly sinister forms until this administration. And frankly, the Patriot Act was not the greatest abuse it is the FISA act. Obamas EXPANSION of these programs what was what prompted Snowden to do something to begin with.

I couldn't vote for Trump because I'm English living in England, I wouldn't mind emigrating to America one day, but i doubt they'd let me in because I once served 3 months in an English jail on a vigilante rap.
PS-My best bet would be to fly to Mexico for a "holiday", then buy myself a sombrero and sneak across the border with other illegals before Don closes it, I don't need no steenkin visa..
