Trump wants to troll Canada with US ambassador pick

I personally would choose a Canadian-American. I'm a believer that all nations should have good relations. I know I've said some aggressive things geopolitically in the past, but I always prefer peace to war. And the Canadians have been good allies. I'd like that to continue, even as we shift our policy out east.

Personally I feel an affiliation with two nations: Canada and Russia for their wide open sparsely populated regions.

 

There is no bigger (*)(*)(*)(*) you to Canada than sending a Palin or Giuliani to Canada. Should this happen we have to assume Donald Trump doesn't care about the Canada US relationship.

 

The way I see it, Canada has no choice but to close the borders and stop all trade or visas with the United States of Trump.

We do share the same queen and you do send your people here in the winter to work at the ski resorts.

 

You send your people here in the summer to work as backpackers too!

Would you prefer David Duke? We can spare him and he is willing

 

Most likely you will not agree, but I think Palin may have some appeal in places like Nunavut and Yukon. Rudy may play well in the Eastern cities. Christie... well, maybe the Quebecois who have vacation trailers in South Jersey may like him, I dunno. Never been a big Christie guy.

Hey, you guys could always dig Brian Mulroney out of retirement and foist him on us!

It's complicated. Personally I feel we should concentrate on South East Asia, but we have a lot of strong military and political ties to the US and UK.

Unfortunately that comes with dozens of bases on our soil and the necessity to spill Australian blood and waste hundreds of billions on killing whoever they decide they don't like this time round.

We appear to be shifting into the EU's circle of influence with the election of Trump. We are cautious to retain that standing with international elites. Upon his election the message from our government was clear: we aren't jetissoning our relationship, but be clear that we won't back you against the internationalists. Hopefully this will all blow over and Michelle Obama will be in the WH come 2020.

We are a very gullible nation politically.
