its biased and PKK says they have killed 100 turkish soldiers but the generals are hiding it , you will need a neutral source that has actually gone to the areas and done body counts .

also how can turkey kill these many PKK fighters if they are only mainly operating inside Kurdish region of turkey !.

also do you think PKK and turkish army killing each other will solve the long delayed kurdish issue !!!!

lets assume PKK are causing trouble , how about BDP !!??

    na dear

in Turkey we have the biggest Kurdish population 15-20 million
    Iran 6-9 million
    Iraq 6.7 million
    Syria 2.5 million
    Russia 500,000

look at the photo to see where they are located and you can see the biggest kurdish populated region lies in turkey.

But it is not biased when it says 24 soldiers killed right? Do you really expect a BCC reporter to go to the area and count dead bodies?

Why do you find it that surprising? The troops' operations are backed by air strikes, seven PKK officers have also been killed, such as Rüstem Osman (codenamed "Cudi"), Yücel Halis (codenamed "Alişer Koçgiri") and Guhar Çekirge (codenamed "Çiçek Kıçi").

I know you never ever read the sources I provide, and immediately call it "biased", but at least might considering reading the title at least :)

    Ask your beloved AKP.

do you think MHP/CHP will do better ? they are ultra nationalist but it seems AKP is moving towards the same directions . so who should we deal with then ? no one listens no one wants to solve the kurdish issue . we are back to square one , the only solution is Autonomy or Independence . there are non else .

    Hey alan131210,
Why are you trying to show the people here that the Turkish govt is killing the guerrillas for nothing?? PKK has been rendering its disastrous and vicious attacks on the civilians ,who comprise both Turks and Kurds, moralwise downgrading the locals and raising hatred between individiuals, acting in contempt and so on....The funds spent on tackling with the PKK could have been used in a conducive way and coudl have escalated the region's income and bring mroe fair income distribution. If you have noticed ,I am not using the word 'Kurdish Terror' as I dont think it would be the correct context since it is not only Kurds who make up the group but also there are other ethnicities as well..
Now,with all that blood shed and mourns for the martrys and veterans,we can say that more is on the way and this Must come to a halt.I,personally am admitting that big mistakes have been made throughout the history of Turkish Republic, not only to Kurds but to other ethnicities as well.Turks' level of consciousness of existence of other ethnicitys in their surroundings has recently been emerging and more and more people are recognizing this fact. The awareness, when couple with thorough knowledge about the status, brings democracy and peace...If you ask me what the solution would be ,I would say a Federation could be a solution..like in many other sovereign countries in the world,Turkey can have a central govt and a local govt in tahat region who handle their internal matters freely..But the top tier will be the Republic of Turkey and the language in the region should be both Turkish and Kurdish,mandatorily..But upon the local govt discretion ,Arabic or other minority languages coudl be taught optionally at schools.

As a Kurd,,would like to hear you expectation as a solution to stop the blood flowing..

CHP turned a bit more moderate since Kılıçdaroğlu was elected as head, considering the fact he's an Alevi (not sure if he's of whether ethnic Turkish or Kurdish origin).

But please don't complain about AKP to me, you always say that they're going same directions but days after you declare them angels again, so I'm not even going to say one word about arrested BDP politicans. You want it, you get it.
